Top Ten New Jersey Events for Memorial Day Weekend:
Wildwoods International Kite Festival – May 27-30
The largest kite festival in North America! Event is held on the Beach at Rio Grande Avenue and inside the Wildwoods Convention Center. Festival kicks off on Friday at 12 noon with the ‘Unlocking of the Ocean’ media event on the beach south of the Wildwoods Convention Center. Festivities follow with the opening of the Kite Sales tent, Friday night social via the local kite club, and the 9 p.m. illuminated kite fly. Saturday and Sunday include the East Coast Stunt Kite Championships on the beach as well as kite workshops and family games. Monday will feature the World Indoor Kite Competition inside the Wildwoods Convention Center where kite fliers will showcase their impressive ability to fly a kite without wind! Entire event is FREE to spectators!

2016 Trenton Pork Roll Festival, Where It All Began – May 28
Trenton Social is once again putting on its annual celebration of the iconic delicacy of Trenton. Memorial Day Weekend marks the celebration of where it all began, and a huge party to kick off their summer season. Experience exciting food and cocktails inspired by Pork Roll made by the hottest hands in the food game! Live entertainment throughout the day from the very best entertainers in the region!

The Official 2016 Pork Roll Festival ® in downtown Trenton, NJ. Jersey Shore Food Truck Festival at Monmouth Park – May 28 – 30
The Jersey Shore Food Truck Festival, bigger and better than ever. This year they are making a larger area to accommodate 50 Food Trucks!!! Yes FIFTY FOOD TRUCKS! Plus crafts and live music.Sunday is family fun day with free pony rides, face painting and a bouncy house.

GSWGA’s Wine & BBQ Experience – May 28th & 29th
The “Wine & BBQ Experience” returns to Schooley’s Mountain Park in Long Valley, New Jersey on Saturday, May 28 and Sunday, May 29 from noon to 5 pm (rain date Monday, May 30). This will be New Jersey’s biggest wine and barbeque holiday extravaganza, featuring a group of pitmasters Ben’s BBQ, Texas Smoke, Spanky’s BBQ & Catering among others and music from the Honey Island Swamp Band on Saturday and Astrograss on Sunday. A percentage of all tickets sold will benefit the Fisher House Foundation for military families.

Collingwood May Festival
Collingwood is the place to be memorial day weekend, 50,000 New Jerseyans turned out in 2015 and this year is expected to be even bigger with over 200 artists, multiple live music stages, food, games and other activities.

Bradley Beach Memorial Day Celebration
Join Bradley Beach at the beautiful Jersey Shore for a weekend-long celebration. Fun for the whole family! The parade starts at 10 a.m. on Ocean Ave. on Saturday.

Highlands 16th Annual Seaport Craft Show – May 29
The Highlands Business Partnership kicks off its spring and summer season presenting the 16th Annual Seaport Craft Show (rain or shine) on Sunday, May 29 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is free and the show is located in Huddy Park at Waterwitch and Bay avenues. The Seaport Craft Show is a juried show and offers a wonderful collection of various handmade crafts created by some of New Jersey’s most talented artisans. Among the merchandise will be handcrafted jewelry, nautical-themed merchandise made from shells, sea glass and driftwood, hand-painted wooden furniture, soaps and natural body care products.
