Cruise Nite Car Show & Food Truck Festival – September 1st
Free event featuring local food vendors and food trucks! This is the 13th annual Glassboro Cruise Nite Car Show.

Delaware Valley Bluegrass Festival – September 1st – 3rd
Since 1990, the Delaware Valley Bluegrass Festival has been held at the Salem County Fair Grounds, which are located in the rolling farmland of South Jersey along US Route 40, seven miles east of the Delaware Memorial Bridge. The nearest town to the grounds is Woodstown, New Jersey, which is approximately four miles farther east along Route 40. The nearest major city is Wilmington, Delaware, which is across the Delaware River, approximately 10 miles to the west-northwest. Philadelphia, Pennsylvania is approximately 40 miles to the northwest, and Atlantic City, New Jersey is about 60 miles to the southeast, at the end of Route 40. The Fair Grounds are located on land that is owned by Salem County, and operated by the Salem County Fair Grounds Association. In addition to hosting the Delaware Valley Bluegrass Festival each year, the annual Salem County Fair is also held there, as well as a number of 4-H and other farming and agricultural events. Because it is Salem County property, there is a ‘no alcoholic beverages’ regulation in force at all times

ST. BARTHOLOMEW/UNICO ITALIAN FESTIVAL – September 1st – 4th
Perhaps the best kept secret in NJ is the traditional Annual Labor Day Italian Feast in Scotch Plains, NJ. Hosted by the Scotch Plains-Fanwood Chapter of UNICO, St. Bartholomew’s Church and St. Bartholomew’s Academy, the festival has been an annual tradition honoring San Nicola di Bari, the patron saint of the town of Montazzoli, Italy since 1974.
The feast is truly a great family event and has something for everyone to enjoy. There is nightly live music, rides, games, and great food including favorites like pizza, pasta, zeppoles, clams, mussels, and calzones. In addition, there are nightly 50/50 drawings and a super 50/50 raffle on Monday.

AirFest is NASW’s largest annual event & many great new events have been added to the already stellar lineup!

West Cape May Tomato Festival – September 2nd
The Tomato Festival celebrates everyone’s favorite fruit of summer and there are plenty of them on hand to sample- from tomato pies to empanadas. Don’t forget your souvenir t-shirt! The rain date is 9/3/2017.

Bacon, Bikes, and Brews – September 2nd & 3rd
With a an amazing beer tent, food trucks with bacon-themed items, craft vendors, live bands, children activities, and tours of the historic buildings-there is never a dull moment! Allaire loves to keep their history theme going with displays of historic bikes and motorcycles. The beer tent and garden are new and improved with a larger area and a simplified ticketing system. The event is 11am to 5pm with the ‘last call’ for drinks at 4:45pm September 2nd and 3rd. Admission is $10 for adults, 18 years old and older. Kids under 18 are free! Tickets can be purchased in at the door. This event is fundraiser for the Historic Village at Allaire, a 501(c(3)) non-profit museum to help support our educational programming.

BBQ and Craft Beer Festival – September 2nd – 4th
It’s time for the juiciest weekend of the year as we host our annual BBQ & Craft Beer Festival all three days this Labor Day Weekend! Enjoy everything from fall-off-the-bone ribs, to tender pulled pork, to melt-in-your-mouth brisket. Wash everything down with a great selection of brews in our Craft Beer Garden.

Scandinavian Festival – September 3rd
Come to ScanFest! It’s an all-day celebration of Scandinavia at its best – where you’ll discover the customs…the history…the ethnic variety of the six Nordic nations: Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden. Visitors and vendors, alike, are invited to catch a Scandinavian moment—to enjoy the refreshing outdoors at our annual festival in rustic Vasa Park.
