State Fair Meadowlands
Now – July 7

State Fair Meadowlands returns this summer with an electrifying entertainment lineup for all ages. From June 20 to July 7, thrill-seekers and families alike will flock to East Rutherford, NJ, for a spectacle of daring acrobatics, heart-racing amusement rides, mesmerizing magic shows, and live music performances. Circus Lena debuts with vintage charm, featuring death-defying acts under the big tent, while Cycle Circus wows audiences with FMX freestyle stunts and pyrotechnics. Step into the prehistoric era with Jurassic Kingdom’s lifelike dinosaurs, or be mystified by illusionist Jay Mattioli’s electrifying magic. Michael Jackson fans will groove to the iconic tunes at a tribute show. Throughout the 17-day event, attendees can indulge in a culinary adventure from classic fair favorites like corn dogs and cheesesteaks to exotic treats like alligator dishes. The fairground will be alive with dazzling fireworks displays on July 3rd and 4th, while the Magic of Lance Gifford and Commerford Petting Zoo promise more enchantment. With free parking and over 100 rides and games, State Fair Meadowlands is set to be an unforgettable summer experience.

Argos Farm Blueberry Festival

Celebrate our Stars & Stripes – Concert & Fireworks
July 3, 5 pm – 10 pm (The rain date is July 5th)

This celebration features a 25-minute fireworks program over the Raritan Bay. The launch will have over 3,000 shells and effects, including glittering, strobe, and whistling, with various colors synchronized to a patriotic musical compilation produced by Garden State Fireworks. The best views to enjoy the Celebrate Stars & Stripes Fireworks Spectacular Show will be from Sadowski Parkway in Perth Amboy, the Raritan Bay Waterfront Park in South Amboy, The celebration will also feature food trucks, arts and crafts vendors, and live music at 3 PM on Sadowski Parkway in Perth Amboy and at the Raritan Bay Waterfront Park in South Amboy.

Oceanfest
July 4, 1 pm – 10 pm

This all day fun family event, with crowds in the hundreds of thousand, have turned out for the most memorable sights, sounds and sensations of the summer season.
At Oceanfest, visitors can stroll the famous beachfront, take in the wonderful views, enjoy performances by dancers, musicians, clowns and musical acts, sample from a smorgasbord of food vendors, and check out the wares of crafters from all over the northeast. You can even see a fabulous sand sculpture, meet a familiar costumed character, and catch some cool ocean breezes.– and caps it all off with the most spectacular fireworks display at dusk.

This year’s Camden County Waterfront Freedom Festival will feature entertainment by the Tri-County Symphonic Band, Tara Hendricks, and The UB40. Enjoy food, beer, music, and concludes with a spectacular, world-class fireworks display over the Delaware River.

this.is.emo and Emo Social present Emo Night at the Williams Center in Rutherford, New Jersey, featuring guest DJ and host Chris Kamrada of Dashboard Confessional. Special guests include Aaron Rosa from Palisades, Ashlee Holmes, and a full band performance by Gina Fritz, with one more guest to be announced. Laser Light Show and Fireworks

The Independence Day Light Show is a world class computerized lighting and music show followed by an impressive fireworks display. Produced by Raising4 Inc. and the Borough of Belmar, the event celebrates our nations independence and the veterans who protect our freedom. The show is free, and is produced at no cost, to encourage donation to Rebuilding Warriors.

Whitesbog Blueberry Summer Fest
July 6,, 10 am – 3 pm. (Rain Dates: Sundays)

Kickoff the Blueberry Harvest Season in the Birthplace of the Blueberry for the 40th Annual Blueberry Festival. Support this wonderful volunteer led effort to raise awareness and funds for the restoration and preservation of this National Register Historic Village and to promote blueberry and cranberry farms in South Jersey. The Whitesbog Blueberry Festival is an old fashioned country fair set in the Pine Barrens historic village with museums, historic homes, a General Store, tractor-pulled wagon rides to the blueberry field to pick heirloom berries, local handmade craft vendors, local folk music, with berries for sale from a local blueberry farm. This event helps support Whitesbog Historic Village and many local businesses, artists, farms, chefs and proceeds benefit community programs and preservation of the historic village, farm fields, trails and Elizabeth White Gardens, open to the public for free year-round. Estimated 200 – 400 each week.
