University of Dope will host a hip-hop game show, Dr. Charles Liu will talk about the World’s Next Great Telescope that is expecting “first light” later in 2025, meet a variety of sneaker vendors, and more. PLUS Buy, sell, and trade with (limit 4 pairs per person excluding the pair you are wearing, no carts please) with sneaker vendors and other guests all night. Holy Trinity 17th Annual Winter Feast

Cumberland County Winter Eagle Festival

A day of thrilling birdwatching, engaging activities, and fun for all ages! Activities at the Firehall include engaging speakers and presentations, exhibits by both non-profit and commercial organizations, local refreshments and lunch options, live raptor displays by Woodford Cedar Run Wildlife Refuge, and hands-on art activities provided by Clay College. Along the Delaware Bay, visitors can explore five staffed viewing sites equipped with scopes and guided by birdwatching experts. Additional attractions include walks, food, and activities at the Bayshore Center at Bivalve, as well as morning and evening owl watches and guided trail walks.

Lunar New Year Celebration at Tessa International School

Join Tessa International School for a vibrant celebration of Lunar New Year as they welcome the Year of the Snake. The morning will be filled with cultural exploration, hands-on activities, and community fun. Attendees can enjoy a variety of crafts and activities, such as sugar art, lantern making, calligraphy, rice ball making, fan decorating, and a ping pong chopstick challenge, along with the chance to create a paper snake and engage in a book reading. There will also be a photo booth featuring a fan-making activity, New Year’s slime, and a Chinese book sale. At 10:30 AM, there will be a special presentation about the school, offering insight into Tessa International School’s unique programs.

Dumpling Diplomacy will donate 50% of net proceeds to the library. Celebration foods from the global Chinese community will mingle with the many resources of the library. Cutting, Splitting and Hewing at Historic Longstreet Farm

Wood heated the farmer three times: once when they gathered the wood, once when they split the wood, and a final time when they burned the wood. Come out to Longstreet Farm and get warmed up using a two-man saw and splitting wedge, and then learn how farmers used a froe to rive shingles or a broad axe to hew beams.
