New Jersey Diner Review #313: The Golden Palace Diner in Vineland, NJ
The Golden Palace Diner recently celebrated their 30th anniversary! When I found myself in the area (which is an hour and a half plus trip) I knew that I’d be making a stop there for dinner.
Located on Delsea Drive, very close to the Delsea Drive-In, The Golden Palace Diner is open seven days a week and offers breakfast all day, and lunch and dinner specials.
Food you will find at the diner:
– T-bone steak (16 oz) with eggs
– Four egg omelettes
– Very Berry, Berry Banana Hotcakes
– A lot of seafood options
– Cheese rolls (pan-fried with feta cheese, parsley, and dill)
– Freshly made soup and chili
– A lot of paninis, hoagies, wraps etc
– The “Cowboy’s Prime Rib”
– 1/2 lb burgers
– lots of entrees varying from steak, Italian, seafood, and Greek
I hadn’t had a diner coffee in a while so I ordered one while I looked at the menu. The waitress brought me two cups which worked for me.
I also ordered their soup of the day, which was a lobster bisque. Kind of random for a diner, but I ordered it anyway.
And I continued my seafood streak by ordering a shrimp and scallop quesadilla. Definitely haven’t seen that before!
