New Jersey Diner Review #310: The Caldwell Diner
The Caldwell Diner has been serving the local community for almost 25 years with homemade breakfast, lunch, dinner, and desserts. Located in the downtown area, this is a great place to grab a bite to eat before heading out to do some local shopping.
With a recent renovation in 2018, the updated diner decor has kept up with the times. It’s beautiful, clean, and spacious.
Items on their menu that stood out:
– a long list of pancakes, French Toast, and omelets featuring unique items like the “Apple Berry Pancakes”, “Boston Creme French Toast”, and a “Meat Lovers” omelet
– Homemade guacamole and house-fried chips
– Pulled Pork French Fries
– Buffalo Mac and Cheese
– Plenty of sandwich items like their “Italianissimo Sandwich”, Cheeseburger Panini, and London Broil Steak Sandwich
– Authentic Mexican food like their quesadillas, tacos, and burritos
– A long list of gourmet burgers
– A long list of gourmet salads
– And their dine-in dinner specials

Because I had arrived around breakfast time, I couldn’t resist their homemade challah blueberry French Toast.
Hands down one of the best French Toasts I’ve ever had – diner or otherwise.
