New Jersey Diner Review #308: Uncle Buck’s Diner in Belvidere

If you’re looking for a no-frills, easy-going, classic diner – I highly suggest Uncle Buck’s Diner located in Belvidere, NJ. This small town diner is open for breakfast and lunch and is a hangout spot for local residents.

I happened to be there on a lovely day (back in September 2020) and had a chance to sit outside. I got an amazing view of the local water scene which weaves its way throughout the town.

The menu for the diner is short and sweet and has a variety of salads, sandwiches, homemade soups, burgers, and breakfast. Some items on their menu that stood out were their famous “Sausage Burger” which is a popular breakfast sandwich, their seafood sandwiches, side order of pierogies, and some creative burgers.

Ultimately I ordered a chicken salad sandwich on rye, one of my favorite go-to diner options. It was delicious.

The best thing about this diner? It’s SUPER AFFORDABLE. Be sure to hit the bank beforehand because they are cash only.
