My Weekend of Holiday Lights!

This past weekend I was in the holiday spirit! So I decided to cram in as many things into one weekend as I could. Let’s just say that  today I am exhausted, but happy that I got to do as much as I did.

On Friday, I went to see 4 Christmas light shows/displays around the Jersey Shore area.

I started at the Christmas Light Show in Wall, NJ which was only this past weekend. They had a huge turn out!

Check out the #wallchristmaslightshow in #wallnj this weekend only. More details on newjerseyisntboring.com. So cool! #newjersey #njisntboring

This show was created my engineers who timed everything to different holiday music. It was really cool! Stay tuned to their Facebook page to see if they’ll do any additional shows, and what they have planned for next year.

After we left Wall, NJ we headed up to Ocean Township for house that was getting in on the fun, the MacCary Christmas house. Their show is timed to music which is linked to their very own radio station!

Next light show! This one is in ocean twp. For info on where to find these awesome light shows go to newjerseyisntboring.com #njlights #njisntboring

Unfortunately, they day after we saw the show, we learned they were burglarized on Saturday evening. The news broke my heart. As of right now the lights are not on, but be sure to stay tuned to their Facebook page for updates. Hopefully their items will be returned to them and justice will be served.

Moving into Hazlet, we went to check out Johnny’s Hazlet Holiday Lights, another house that loves the Christmas Spirit.

This house had the biggest inflatables I’ve ever seen! You can see your favorite characters at this display, and you can walk around to see how intricate it really is.

Last but not least, we drove another 7 minutes to the Gress House Holiday Lights in Union Beach. They had so many decorations, including some really old school ones. I’m impressed by how great condition their lawn ornaments were! This display was great and has a lot of little details. I especially enjoyed seeing Santa in one of the bedroom windows.

All of these displays raise money for various charities…so if you do stop by, please consider making a donation!

The next day, I attended a very successful Santa Con in Asbury Park. It was awesome! You can see more of my photos on my Instagram feed. It was a very fun afternoon!

Before I went home, I went over to Jackson to go to the “Holiday in the Park” event at Six Flags Great Adventure.

I’m at @sfgradventure #holidayinthepark! Very cool! @sixflags #njisntboring

There were so many lights and so many Christmas trees. And all the rides were open! Considering it was in the 60s this past weekend, it was the perfect time to walk around New Jersey and see all the lights!

I love this tree from @sfgradventure #holidayinthepark. (Taken yesterday) So many pretty lights in the park right now #njisntboring
