My Review: The New QBurger @ Quaker Steak & Lube – Edison, NJ

photo 1

For my most recent date night, my husband and I went to Quaker Steak and Lube for dinner. I had been there once before for an “all you can eat wing night” (which I highly recommend) and decided that he would enjoy it too.

If you haven’t been to a Quaker Steak and Lube before, it’s a really cool place. There are cars hanging upside down on the ceiling! Like, real, actual cars! The whole theme of the place is cars and racing, but you don’t need to be a fan of either to enjoy their restaurant.

We started our meal with two appetizers: wings and guacamole. If you go to Quaker Steak and Lube, you MUST get their wings. There is a lot of wing sauce to choose from, ranging from mild to scorching hot aka “atomic”. There is a flavor for everyone. For a full list of sauces, click here. We played it safe and tried the Kentucky Bourbon.

Their chips and guacamole, which is new to their menu, was also very good!

For our main course, I decided on getting the Grilled Boneless Wings (with Mild Buffalo Sauce) along with broccoli. I was happy to know I could still eat healthy while still eating one of my favorite foods…wings!

My husband got a meal I was very jealous of, the new Qburger. This quarter-pound burger comes in a single or double (he got the double) patty, topped with a Chipotle Cheddar-Pepper spread and pickles. I had two very generous bites of that burger…it was soooo good! The cheese spread tasted amazing on that burger. I may need to cheat on my diet and get that next time I go…

Overall, we had a great experience at the Edison location of Quaker Steak and Lube. The staff was super friendly, our food came out quickly, and everything we ate was delicious.

I look forward to going back there. Each branch has their own specials (links are below). Each day there is a new special, and I’m planning on going back for their “Walking Dead” viewing party on Sundays!
