Diner Review #280: The Montville Diner in Pinebrook, NJ
Located on Route 46, the Montville Diner is a 24-hour diner with a full bar. The diner’s motto is “where good friends meet”.
It’s a nice local hang out with ms. pac man in the lobby, art work, and Tiffany style lighting.
Items that stood on their menu included:
– a list of “Fork’n Great Fries” which included maple fries, teriyaki green bean fries, and their best selling disco fries
– LOTS of gourmet salads
– lots of sandwiches from wraps, paninis, philly steaks, triple deckers, and hot open sandwiches
– Gourmet burgers
– Lots of Greek options like spanakopita, moussaka, gyros and more
– bacon and cheddar pancakes
– s’mores french toast
I decided to get their soup of the day which was lobster bisque. I love a good lobster bisque.
Because I already had my cup of soup I decided to get the 1/2 sandwich and soup combo since it was such a good deal. I decided to get a chicken salad on rye bread which was really tasty. A love a good soup and sandwich combo.
My husband got a chicken parm sub and I stole most of his fries.
Ultimately I enjoyed my trip to the Montville Diner! It had a nice vibe, a menu with lots of options, and a good food.
