The Marlton Diner: Diner Review #272

From it’s classic diner exterior, to it’s funky diner interior, I fell a little bit in love with the Marlton Diner. Located on Route 70, this was the perfect diner pit stop from my home to Philadelphia.

I was immediately drawn in when I walked in the door. They had a jukebox hanging from the ceiling!

Their menu was so different that I really didn’t know what to get. Too many awesome decisions. I mulled it over with some coffee (they serve Lacas).

(Some) Items That Stood Out to me on Their Menu Included:
– Apple pecan rolled pancakes
– Oatmeal chocolate chip cookie pancakes
– Sweet and savory crepes
– the French Delight, which is French Toast with cheesecake
– the London Grill breakfast sandwich (ham, cinnamon apples, honey mustard, and Swiss cheese on a croissant)
– Homemade soft pretzels
– Fried or broiled crab cake bites
– Old Bay, Buffalo, and Garlic Parm fries
– Mexican dishes like quesadillas, flautas, and fajitas
– Lots of gluten free items
– Flatbreads
– A Mac and Cheese paninis along with other fun paninis and sandwiches
– the Marlton Burger which is made with bacon, egg, and homemade beer cheese
– lots of cheese steaks
– 10 inch personal pizzas made with organic homemade sauce
– Surf and Turf

and INSANE milkshakes. Or as they call them…Freak Shakes!

I decided to get a PB & J Banana Panini. The panini came with  a side of their popular “Marlton Fries”.

It was a delicious meal! Talk about taking something ordinary like peanut butter and jelly and improving it.

My favorite part of the diner was their pop culture art work. It was everywhere! Fun, bright, and definitely unique.

Another unique thing about the diner…there’s a candy bar! I don’t think I’ve ever seen that before.

Marlton Diner also has daily specials. On Mondays enjoy a burger and a shake for $9.95, on Tuesdays kids eat free, and Wednesdays you can get pizza and shake for $9.95. They also have a 2 for $25 deal!

Fresh, creative food at an affordable price point makes the Marlton Diner stand out as one of the better NJ diners in South Jersey. Be sure to check it out!
