Working from a Coffee Shop: LeGrand Coffee House in Woodbridge Twp

Looking for a new coffee shop to work? LeGrand Coffee House is open for business in Woodbridge Twp! The cafe and retail shop have been open since May 2022 at the new Avenue & Green Development at 10 Green Street close to the Woodbridge train station.

The coffee shop was founded by Eric LeGrand. LeGrand is known for his motivational speaking, sports analysis, and philanthropy, and author of “Believe: My Faith and the Tackle That Changed My Life” which came out in 2012.

When the pandemic hit in 2020, LeGrand’s speaking engagements were canceled so he was looking for a new way to bring people together. The answer: Coffee!

It’s hard to believe that before 2020 LeGrand had never had a sip of coffee (he first tried it in August 2020). Since then he has gone to school to learn all about it and drink it every day. After selling the coffee online and at farmer’s markets, he set up shop in his hometown of Woodbridge, New Jersey.

Their coffee is made from their signature roasts in addition to specialty drinks, lattes, various teas, and seasonal beverages. The house roast, a medium to dark mix of Guatemalan and Brazilian beans, is called the Believe Blend.

Their menu has everything from their coffee, matcha, espresso, chai, mocha, cold brew, hot chocolate, and lots of tea. Signature lattes include the “Scarlet Knight”, a latte flavored with mocha and chocolate raspberry.  I was also amazed that customers create their own signature drinks with the many flavors that LeGrande Coffee House has in stock.

I was lucky enough to visit during Fall and had a Smores Latte. Delicious. Highly recommend!

Traditional baked goods and other food items/spcials are also on the menu including their signature monkey bread.

LeGrand Coffee House is a 1,900-square-foot shop’s modern-rustic design with a brick statement wall.

Inside you’ll find LeGrand’s #52 Rutgers jersey, a little free library, and a neon sign that reads “a daily cup of bELieve” which reflects LeGrand’s positive attitude with his initials capitalized.

They are open for business seven days a week from 7AM – 4PM. In addition to their flagship location, you can also find their coffee at Rutgers Football Games as well as NJ Devils games. They were named as the 2022-23 Season Recipient of the Devils Buy Black Program.

If you’re not in New Jersey or you can’t make it out to the coffee shop, a variety of their coffees are available through their online shop to ship throughout the United States. In addition to coffee, you can purchase additional merchandise like coffee mugs, t-shirts, and more.
