What makes this festival more than just fun in the sun though is that it is also a benefit for the Roxbury Food Pantry, GiGis Playhouse-Hillsborough, and Morris Rugby. So come on out to the Just Jersey Food Truck & Music Festival on Saturday, June 27, at the Historic Waterloo Village Concert Field in Stanhope, and show your support for these important charities.
June 27th is the 1st of 3 scheduled food truck & music festivals taking place at Waterloo Village Concert Field this season. The other dates are August 8th & October 3rd. Gates will open at 10:00 am. Parking is free and admission is just $5 (kids under 12 FREE), reduced to $4 if you bring a canned or boxed non-perishable food item to donate to the Roxbury Food Pantry. The First 250 people who bring more than 1 item for the Food Pantry will receive a T-shirt from festival sponsor Pazoo.com!
This years Just Jersey Festival has added 10 additional food trucks to help reduce waiting in line time and will now feature over 30 trucks serving everything from American fare to Puerto Rican, Thai, Cajun, and Creole cuisines. Other gourmet offerings include Lobster rolls, Artisan Pizzas, Empanadas, Tacos, BBQ, Cuban Sandwiches, Exotic Meats, Steak, Sliders, Meatballs, Mac & Cheese, Grilled Cheese, Batter Fried Cheese Curds, Belgian Waffles, Cheesecake, Cupcakes and so much more. Additionally, Randolphs Morris Tap & Grill will be sponsoring a Craft Beer & Wine Bar featuring libations from such New Jersey breweries as Bolero Snort, Ramstein & Flying Fish.
Though it may not be easy to drag yourself away from the scent of all the gourmet food, once youve had your fill get ready for some Music! We are bringing the music back to Waterloo! No matter what your taste is, this festival has it covered. School of Rock Randolph gets the morning started at 10am. Come see these incredibly talented young people as they take the stage and support & encourage the arts for todays children. They will be followed by the toe tapping, thigh slapping, Stepping Stone Band, an alternative country blues band, from 11am-1:30pm. From 1:30pm-4pm, the stage will explode with the sweet rockin sounds of Jersey Citys own DEVI. Closing the night out will be New Jerseys popular cover band, Mr Love Joy, from 4pm-6:30pm. WOW! Bring your own lawn chairs and blankets so you can reserve the best seats in the house by the stage and take in the sounds. Picnic tables will also be available.
The Just Jersey Food Truck & Music Festival is a day devoted to fun, culture, music, family, the arts, and fine food. There will be vendors, a mechanical bull, the always fun Galaxy Meltdown, & activities for the kids, including face painting and an obstacle course! It is also a day devoted to philanthropy, as the Just Jersey Festival, along with event sponsors Pazoo.com, Morris Tap & Grill, No Idea Sports, Kitchen Magic, Heroes Journey Crossfit-Lake Parsippany, Big Brew NJ, and The Morristown Armory Antiques Show, are thrilled to have this event support the causes of three New Jersey charities. The Roxbury Food Pantry provides food for needy families and has seen its needs increase by 300% over the last 18 months. Currently, it is in desperate need of supplies and donations to ensure that NO ONE GO HUNGRY. GiGis Playhouse of Hillsborough is a Down Syndrome achievement center providing free educational and therapeutic programs to help empower individuals with Down Syndrome and their families to achieve their greatest potential. The Morris Rugby Corporation helps promote sportsmanship and works to establish scholarships for kids to play sports while combining its focus on athletics with community service.
