Here is my official Holiday and Christmas Lights in New Jersey Guide. My goal this season – to see as many Christmas light displays as possible! Holiday Lights Trolley Ride
Select Dates November 23 – December 31, 2018
Take a trip down to the Historic District of Cape May to see some of the most beautifully decorated houses and inns in New Jersey! Take a trolley ride through the Historic District to see the Victorian-style houses and inns decorated for the holidays. Tours begin at the Washington Street Mall Information Booth at Ocean Street. Purchase tickets at the Washington Street Mall Information Booth, at the Carriage Horse or at Hill House Office. Check their website for dates and times. Ride the Ferry to Winter Wonderfest
Select Dates November 17 – December 31, 2018
Ride the Ferry to the Lewes Terminal for Winter Wonderfest! The Christmas Village returns to the Lewes Terminal this holiday season bigger and brighter! Packed with indoor & outdoor fun for the whole family, the Christmas Village includes an Ice Rink, Santa’s Workshop, games, pictures with Mr. & Mrs. Claus, nightly entertainment and new this year, the Lodge, a heated tent serving bites & beverages. The Ferry offers shuttles to the Spectacular Light Show in Cape Henlopen State Park!

Adventure Aquarium Christmas Celebration
November 23 through December 30, 2018

Storybook Land hosts this fabulous holiday celebration, with Santa himself illuminating the lights. This magnificent display features over one millions lights! Children can visit Mr. & Mrs. Claus until December 23rd, when it’s time for them to return to the North Pole. All rides, attractions and snack bars are also open during this time.

Christmas Light Show Hayrides

Holiday in the Park

Holiday In the Park will run November weekends and select days through January 1, 2018. Millions of glittering lights, dazzling holiday entertainment, delicious seasonal treats, Santa’s village, animals and many popular rides will magically transform the summer thrill destination into a winter wonderland, and will be included with all season passes and active memberships. Stunning light shows, illuminated, towering trees, the iconic smell of fresh pine and crisp peppermint filling the air and festive street vendors offering sweet and savory treats will provide a multi-sensory journey of winter delights. Kids can join Santa in his workshop for a fun photo opportunity. A new entertainment program will feature a tree lighting spectacular, grand stage production, live carolers and a nightly awe-inspiring finale. Regardless of the weather forecast, a touch of magic will ensure that snowflakes fall gently every evening.

Movern Garden’s Festival of Trees
November 21, 2018 – January 6, 2019

Festival of Trees is an annual highlight of the holiday season showcasing a juried collection of trees and mantles displayed throughout the museum’s galleries, upstairs and down. This year’s theme invites visitors to enjoy the newly reimagined first and second floor galleries, featuring trees inspired by 18th through 20th century decor. Area designers, artists, garden clubs, businesses, and non-profit organizations will adorn all of the Museum’s galleries, including the second floor, with exquisite and whimsical holiday decorations.

Christmas Ice Caverns

The “Christmas Ice Caverns” are an Animated children’s display that children walk through and see dozens of storybook displays in a Christmas Themed setting. You can see Disney characters sleigh riding in the snow, Santa’s candy factory, Santa’s reindeer feeding barn, toy story figures, a life-size Nativity, and much, much, more.

Turtle Back Zoo Holiday Lights
November 23 – December 31, 2018

About 50 animal and holiday-themed figures will light up the winter night in Turtle Back Zoo and the surrounding Essex County South Mountain Recreation Complex. Over 100,000 lights will illuminate figures of bears, tigers and elephants, along with holiday lights designed to look like wooden soldiers, stars and winter scenes. Several animal exhibits will be open, including the Sea Lion Sound, Essex Farm, Tam-ring Gibbons Reserve, Tropical Currents Aquarium and the Reptile Building. Myrtle the Turtle, the mascot of Turtle Back Zoo, and several of his winter friends will be on hand to greet visitors at the Zoo. “Selfies” with Santa Claus and a mailbox where children can send letters to Santa Clause at the North Pole will be available each night until December 23rd.

Festival of Trees
Select Dates November 23 – December 9

Celebrate the holiday season at our annual Festival of Trees, featuring a beautiful display of decorated trees, wreaths and centerpieces donated from members of the community. The Festival opens the day after Thanksgiving and runs through Sunday December 9th, corresponding with Dickens Days in town.

Skylands Stadium Christmas Lights Show
November 16–December 30, 2018

Experience a spectacular Christmas Light Show at Skylands Stadium! Drive through a 1-mile course of breathtaking displays set to joyous holiday music. They will have more than 2 MILLION LIGHTS for your viewing pleasure. New this year is an outdoor Christmas Village which is FREE to visit. The village will have Santa, walk thru lights, a skating ring, food, and more!

The Craft Farm Christmas Light Show
November 23, 2018 – January 8, 2019
The Craft Farm Christmas Light Show was created to spread the joy and happiness of Christmas through colorful musical displays. The show runs every year between Black Friday and January 8th and features four Christmas season related songs totaling about 16 minutes in length. The show is completely and totally free, and anyone/everyone is invited to come and see it. The music is played over the radio on channel 88.5FM so guests don’t even have to leave the comfort of their vehicles. The show does not run in the rain, but it does run in the snow.

The Iantosca Family invites the community to enjoy their incredible lights display to kick off the holiday season. This event is fun for the whole family and is for a great cLause! In addition to the lights and decorations on the front lawn, Joe and Joanne Iantosca will be joined by Howell HS Rebel Yell and the Rebellettes and most importantly Mr. & Mrs. Claus all the way from the North Pole!
