Grape Adventure – This Weekend Nov 8th & 9th, 2014 at Great Adventure
For the last 5 years, my husband and I attend Grape Adventure, which is held at Six Flags Great Adventure in Jackson. You pay a flat rate (prices vary depending on if you’re a Season ticket holder) and get to sample as many wines before you pass out. The event is free to attend if you do not plan on drinking, and kids are allowed. There are vendors in attendance (I bought a nifty wine glass holder lanyard last year) as well as food vendors. This year there are a few food trucks in attendance which is pretty cool. The park is not open, so you can’t get drunk and ride a roller coaster, however they do have the safari open for those who purchase the Wine Event and Safari ticket. There are a few wines that are strictly for the safari, so it’s worth checking out.
I highly recommend it. I stock up on wine for the year since all the vineyards are in one convenient location.

The 5th Annual Grape Adventure features 14 wineries & vineyards. The event features Live Music, Food and Craft Vendors. Limited Safari Packages are available for a special tasting of reserve wines at Camp Adventure in the African Plains!
