Feeling Rich at the Pour House!
It was a weeknight when I visited the Pour House, located on Haddon Ave in Westmont, and the place was packed! I would soon discover why.
PJ’s Pour House is a bar and restaurant featuring a very extensive craft beer list which is updated on their website daily. Their beers come from all over the country, featuring a lot of New Jersey Craft Beer.
Their menu can be described as “upscale pub” including a wide range of options from little bites, bar snacks, appetizers, salads, burgers, tacos, AND an oyster bar. Overall their menu prices range from $4-$20, which is pretty reasonable.
I went with a friend when I visited he Pour House and we decided to split two appetizers. We started with their 3 cheese crab dip…which was DELICIOUS. I highly recommend it.
I also had to try their “Famous” fries, a big platter with crinkly crab fries big enough to share. And that cheese dip…
So good….there were no leftovers!
From the moment I parked my car at the Pour House, I could smell burgers…and they smelt amazing. I don’t normally order burgers unless I’m really craving one, so I decided to indulge and get the “Pour House Classic” as my entree.
Their burgers are 100% certified Angus beef served on on a brioche bun. The Pour House Classic came with caramelized Guinness onions, and Vermont white cheddar. It was so delicious. I also got a salad, because…well…why not? It was the equivalent of getting a diet coke considering how many (worth it!) calories I was eating.
Dessert, yes please! The Pour House has a few select desserts so my friend and I split a cookie skillet. Mmmm cookie skillet.
It’s not hard to see why this neighborhood bar is always busy! From their extensive beer list, to their delicious food, to live music ,and an outdoor patio, PJ’s Pour House is a fun place to hang around!
