Taste of Perth Amboy
December 3, 6PM – 9PM

The “Taste of Perth Amboy,” a fundraiser to benefit the not-for-profit Homeless Prevention initiative, returns to the City-by-Raritan Bay. The “Taste” is sponsored by the City of Perth Amboy, its Business Improvement District (BID) as well as many participating chefs, restaurants, cafes and food purveyors. The Taste of Perth Amboy is a cultural and culinary event that showcases Perth Amboy’s rich diversity of community and cuisine.

Bordentown’s Annual Holiday Chocolate Walk
December 6, 6PM – 9PM

Enjoy Bordentown City’s YUMMIEST Holiday event as you stroll through the businesses of this historic downtown. Each business offers ‘Chocolate Walkers’ a tasty chocolate treat and a stamp in their Chocolate Passport ($5). You’ll enjoy everything from a piece of chocolate, to brownies, and hot chocolate as you stroll the historic downtown business district. When you’re finished your Chocolate Walk, return your passport at the Downtown Bordentown Association (DBA) tent to be entered to win a $50.00 gift certificate for use at any DBA member business!

Annual Christkindlmarkt
December 6, 7, & 8
A True Christmas Village Atmosphere! Holiday market and fair under huge heated tents. Santa (of course!), craft & gift vendors, fabulous food court, horse drawn cart rides, kiddie rides, trackless train, make & take crafts, hot Gluhwein, rolling chair sleigh rides on the boardwalk, entertainment and lots of holiday fun. Wine tasting and sales by Valenzano winery. The Festival of Trees will be open for viewing.

Kick Off the Holiday Season Weekend
December 7 & 8, 10AM – 5PM
Enjoy fun for the whole family with wagon rides and more at Terhune Orchards! Choose the perfect Christmas tree and wreath. Start your holiday shopping. Unique selection of gift baskets, with Terhune Orchards fruit, baked goods, and even wine – perfect for anyone on your list!   From noon – 3 pm visit with Santa in our barnyard and enjoy a seasonal wagon ride (weather permitting). In the wine tasting room from noon – 5 pm, try award-winning wines and warm up with hot mulled wine. Sample delicious Gift Basket “ingredients” – homemade baked goods, cheeses, apple butter and more. On Sunday enjoy live music from 1 – 4 pm in the winery.

Lake Mohawk German Christmas Market
December 7 & 8, Sat 10AM – 9PM, Sun 10AM – 5PM
The Lake Mohawk boardwalk turns into a winter wonderland during the German Christmas Market. A biergarten, food market, live wood-carvings, all-day entertainment and a special visit from St. Nicholas will spread some Christmas cheer. A portion of the funds raised benefit local charities and organizations.

Downtown Somerville Holiday Spirits Pub Crawl 2019
December 14, 8:30PM

Stops will include Mannion’s Pub & Restaurant & Clubhouse, Alfonso’s Family Trattoria & Gourmet Pizzeria, Tapastre, Salted Lime Restaurant, and Project PUB! Project PUB is happy to announce a portion of all ticket sales and a portion of our sales for the evening will go to Toys for Tots to help spread a little cheer.

Valenzano Winery’s Holly Jolly Weekend
December 14 & 15, 11AM – 4PM

“Cookies, Crafts, & Holiday Cheer – to Help Santa Along this Year!” Join Valenzano for one last stop on your holiday trail. They’ll be decking the halls and prepping the punch for a weekend of fresh baked Christmas sweets, holiday music and an array of artisan vendors who all hope to offer that perfect last minute addition to your list. Admission includes wine tasting, access to the vendors, and an opportunity to grab a table and your favorite bottle of wine and take in the afternoon’s seasonal joy. All tables & seating is first come/first serve – no additional seating or tables will be placed after we have hung our stockings, trimmed our trees, and commenced wassailing.

Metuchen Cookie Walk
December 15, 8AM – 1PM
The #MetuchenCookieWalk was started in 2015 with a simple premise: bake, buy, give. Local residents bake thousands of cookies which are then sold at the Cookie Walk. Cookie Walk attendees purchase either a small ($10) or large ($20) box that they filled with these delicious homemade cookies. In 2017, over 14,000 homemade cookies were donated, raising over $8,100 for the Fuccile Foundation and local families in need. In 2019, the Metuchen Cookie Walk will once again collect non-perishable food donations for the First Presbyterian Church of Metuchen’s FPC Food Pantry.

Murder Mystery Dinner at Four Sisters Winery
December 15, 4pM – 7PM
It’s not a typical who done it….It’s the guests in the audience that create a witty, weaving story line. As the plot thickens, the victim falls prey and the detectives investigate with deductive reasoning to reveal the murderer. Formal wine tasting, buffet style dinner of salad, pasta dinner with meatballs bread and dessert. Dessert wines will be served back in the winery after an educational tour of the wine cellar.

LSC After Dark
December 20, 6PM – 10PM

Guests 21 and over are invited to join LSC for a night of icy cool activities and experiments. Enjoy delicious cocktails and sweet treats as you explore Liberty Science Center at its most festive. Warm up in the planetarium (the biggest planetarium in the Western Hemisphere) and experience a seasonal new show. Show off your holiday spirit on the dance floor!

Barefoot Grape Stomp at Four Sisters Winery
December 21, 4PM – 7PM
It’s Stomping Time! Yes, it’s Barefoot Grape Stomping A bit of nostalgia, a tasting of wine, something to do with friends for a special time! Formal wine tasting, Italian spaghetti with meatballs, garden salad, bread, dessert, coffee, tea and sweet tea. An educational wine cellar tour describes the processes of wine making and then off with the shoes and socks for the ever-popular Barefoot Grape Stomping. Nacho Muthas Holiday Popup
December 21 & 22, 12PM – 8PM

Nacho Muthas Holiday Popup is a fun foodie market celebrating the holidays. There will be an array of vendors on hand offering local artisan eats & treats including prepared & packaged items — many of which are perfect for holiday gifts! The popup will take place steps from the mall’s East entrance, re-purposing the space formerly housing burger chain Steak ‘n Shake. It is located directly next to clothing & outerwear‎ retailer LL Bean.
