Fast Break Diner in Toms River, New Jersey: Review
I love a fun, unique diner…which is why the Fast Break Diner in Toms River, NJ was such a fun treat! I also got to share the experience of visiting this diner with my good pal and fellow diner enthusiast Hollie aka FueledbyLOLZ.
For starters, the exterior of the diner is super cute and I’m told it lights up at night.
The interior of the diner is also extremely cute! Lots of fun stuff to take in and admire from each side:
They also have really fun table decorations, and each table is different.
So all and all, a lot to take in on a decor level.
It’s important to note that the Fast Break Diner is only open for breakfast and lunch, and they close around 3pm each day. We went during the week and it was kind of busy, but I’m told on a weekend the place is PACKED.
Choosing something from the menu was difficult since there was lots of great options and everything was very affordable. They have lots of breakfast options including omelets, Belgian waffles, pancakes, egg sandwiches etc. Their lunch menu is mainly sandwiches, burgers, homemade soup and chili, and salads. FYI they serve steak fries, one of my favorite kind of fries.
Ultimately, Hollie and I ended up ordering the same thing…the Summer Indian Salad. This colorful salad came with feta cheese, craisins, apples, raisins, and walnuts. We both topped off the salads with chicken. VERY DELICIOUS.
Despite ordering a healthy salad, I also ended up ordering cheese balls, which were fried cheddar cheese balls. I regret nothing, because they were delicious.
Overall, we had a fabulous time at the Fast Break Diner! It was definitely one of our more exciting diner experiences!
