Tenth Annual Bergenfield Film Festival – May 7

The Bergenfield Film Festival’s goal is to celebrate independent and mainstream cinema and bring it to the Northern New Jersey area. The BFF aims to support filmmakers based in NJ as well as the world over. It is held each year, one night only, within five separate screening rooms, inside the beautifully redone Bow Tie Cinemas in Bergenfield, NJ. Filmmakers from all over the world have come here over the last eight years to see theirs and others’ movies screened. It is run by the Bergenfield Film Coalition (a non-profit organization).

Each filmmaker whose work is selected to be screened will receive a Certificate of Recognition for their contribution to the medium. The festival’s Best Feature & Best Short Awards will be given to the filmmakers whose work has been judged to represent the best in all aspects of the filmmaking process.

Middletown South Food Truck Fest and Family Fun Night – May 8

Don’t miss the first Annual Middletown South Food Truck Fest and Family Fun Night! The event will offer a multitude of Food Trucks, offering at least 6 different cuisines, and all competing to be the fan favorite. We will also be showcasing several live bands, a corn-hole tournament, arcade truck, and several other family-friendly activities. Be sure to pack your beach chair, and stay for our Outdoor Movie. The movie will be shown on the Middletown South Football field, and will start at dusk. Unionville Vineyards’s Spring Festival – May 9th

We hope you’ll join us Saturday, May 9, 2015, for a day of great wine and great fun at our annual Spring Festival. Each May, we invite all to come and enjoy the beautiful spring weather and bucolic countryside at our vineyard and winery in Ringoes, NJ. Vineyard walks, winery tours, tastings, and more! On our patio we’ll have live music from two great bands: Working Class Hussys, a local alternative rock group, will perform from 12pm to 3pm. Quimby Mountain Band, returning after a great performance at our 2014 fall festival, will perform from 3pm to 6pm.
