New Jersey Isn’t Boring Opening Reception – March 22
This Sunday, I will be curating the first New Jersey Isn’t Boring art exhibit! The exhibit will be held from March 22nd – April 16th, 2015! It is FREE to attend! The event features over 30 NJ artists whose art work all represent New Jersey. If you can make it, that would be amazing! There will be food and beverages provided.

AC Beer and Music Festival – March 20 & 21
The focus of The Atlantic City Beer Festival is the promotion of craft beers and the brewers that create them. This event is the perfect opportunity for beer aficionados, beer lovers and the casual beer drinker to speak to company representatives and brewers responsible for some of their favorite brews. And it’s an opportunity to discover and taste new brews and special “limited release” beers and ales.

New Jersey Jewish Film Festival – Now – March 29
Founded in 2000 by Caren and Herbert Ford, the New Jersey Jewish Film Festival has become one of the premier Jewish cultural events in the state. Enthusiastic MetroWest audiences anticipate the annual festival that offers the best of Israeli, American and international films of Jewish interest. As the festival has grown, so too has the number of high caliber Jewish-related films. We promise a roster of first-run offerings that are nothing short of remarkable and, best of all, you can see enjoy them close to home! These are films that have not been shown in commercial theatres or on television. We also offer post screening discussions with the insightful speakers and commentators, including scholars, actors and directors. In addition to its two-week spring run, the festival offers several film programs at other times of the year, including the Reel Series and extra!. The festival offers many exciting opportunities to explore the breadth of the Jewish experience through cultural events that enrich the lives of thousands.

New Jersey Wine & Food Festival– Mar 20 – 22
This festival is designed to allow food and wine lovers to meet and mingle with the chefs, winemakers, sommeliers and fellow wine aficionados. The spotlight event is the Grand Tasting on Saturday night where more than 30 top chefs from NJ & NYC join leading wineries and distilleries from around the world. Taste culinary delights from chefs from the best restaurants in NY & NJ and listen to live entertainment by the 32-piece David Aaron Orchestra.

Rahway’s March Madness – March 21
In association with Metro Rahway, the City of Rahway is hosting a family festival and BBQ competition centered around March Madness. There is something for everyone! From 12-2PM at the Rahway Recreation Center, the Court Jesters performing basketball team will put on a show for all to see! Admission is free. Then at 2PM the party heads to Metro Rahway! Campbell St. and surrounding areas will be full of family fun! Face painting, food trucks, carnival-style games, basketball competitions, BBQ competition, March Madness viewing tent and many more surprises!

Ride the Vines – March 21
Enjoy a 26 or 43 mile bike ride through flat farm land and vineyards. Relax afterwards with wine tasting from 3 local wineries including Bellview Winery, Coda Rossa Winery, and Monroeville Winery. There will be live music, lite fair, food vendors and plenty of fun to go around.
Registration begins at 7:00 am and closes at 9:00 am. Riders will leave in groups of 8-10 from Bellview Winery and must be wearing a helmet and obey all traffic and safety laws. Live Music and Tasting will begin at 11:00 am at Bellview Winery.
Pre-registration is $30 which includes wine tasting, t-shirt, souvenir glass, music and lite fare. Day of ride registration is $40 and includes t-shirt (while supplies last), souvenir glass, music and lite fare. If you would rather just cheer on your friends and taste some wine there is also a $10 spectator option that includes wine tasting, souvenir glass and live music.
