Rahway’s Winter Wonderland – Nov 27
The theme for this years event is The Wizard in Wonderland and will feature characters from the ever-popular Wizard of Oz. Join us for a family-oriented fun night of entertainment which will include outdoor ice skating, music, inflatables, pictures with Santa, carriage rides, food, drink and many other activities at locations throughout the City.

Haddon Height’s Holiday Parade – Nov 27
Arriving in a flurry of lights and music provided by area fire departments and our High School Band, Santa will travel from 10th Avenue along Station Avenue to the White Horse Pike. Join Santa and the band on their walk, returning to the Borough Hall for photos and a chance to tell Santa your Christmas Wishes.

Sea Isle City’s Holiday Extravaganza – Nov 27 & 28
Friday night Sea Isle Chamber kicks off their Holiday Extravaganza weekend with a parade from local fire companies that brings Santa to the town where he will light the tree. They have a Ice Skating rink from 4:40 – 9:30 pm with a Christmas show. Saturday is Small Business day, which they encourage everyone to Shop Locally. The skating rink is opened 10 am – 3 pm.

GSWGAs Holiday Wine Trail Weekend Nov 27 29
The holiday season begins in New Jersey wine country during the annual Holiday Wine Trail weekend! Statewide, tis the season for new wines, sales and discounts, tasting room entertainment and more during the three days following Thanksgiving.

Dickens’ Days in Clinton – Nov 27 – 29
Dickens Days is an annual event that transforms Clinton into a Victorian Village. Visitors can expect to interact with Scrooge, Charles Dickens, and Father Christmas as they stroll through downtown Clinton entertaining shoppers. The town will be decorated for the holidays, with toy soldiers on the famous Clinton Bridge, holiday greens, and twinkling lights. Horse drawn carriage rides, in full Victorian costume, offer a glimpse into the past. Musical performances of all genres will be performed by local artists and music groups throughout the weekend. 24th Annual Santa Claus Special – Nov 29
It’s the time of year when Santa Claus invites one and all to celebrate the coming Christmas Season with Family and Friends by riding the rails onboard the Whippany Railway Museum’s SANTA CLAUS SPECIAL excursion trains.
The 10-mile, 45-minute round trip excursion from Whippany to Roseland and return allows passengers time to enjoy the Festivities of the Season and the merriment on the train. All of our past trips over the last 20 years have been complete sell-outs, and seeing the excited faces of the children as they climb aboard the Christmas Holiday-decorated trains, ensures an afternoon for Family Fun.
During each excursion, Santa makes his way through the train and visits with the children onboard. The train crew follows along, giving the kids a special gift from Santa. Be sure to bring your camera and take pictures of the kids with Santa, so they can always remember their day onboard the train!
