Diner Round Up – Red Oak Diner in Montgomery
While in the Princeton area I stopped by the Red Oak Diner in Montgomery. I was a first timer.
The diner was pretty empty at 4:30pm (duh) so we got seated and fed right away.
They had a really good menu, but they stop serving breakfast early in the day and I always prefer a diner that serves breakfast all day. Bummer.
I decided on getting a chicken cheesteak on a pita. It was really good and one of the more affordable things on the menu. I have never had chicken cheesesteak on a pita before so that was different. The sandwich itself was super cheesy, and it came with fries so I was able to make chicken cheese steak fries since a lot of the meat and veggies oozed out of the pita. But in a good way!
I liked this diner a lot. Its in good location, very close to a lot of shopping as of course the downtown Princeton area. I recommend it if you’re in the area! Tell them I sent ya!
