Diner Round Up – Golden Dawn Diner in Trenton
I finally made it to the Golden Dawn Diner in Trenton/Hamilton after being recommend it for a long time.

I went on a Saturday afternoon and was happy that they did lunch specials on a weekend (not all of them do). I ordered a portabello mushroom sandwich which game with a soup (not pictured but it was chicken noodle) and fries that were AMAZING.
My husband got something pretty instagram worthy: an all BACON omelette. Yes, all bacon. He didn’t alter it, it was literally an all bacon omelette with all the other diner fixins ie home friends and toast. He was pretty happy.
This diner is defintiely on my list of diners to return to. I have friends who live 7 minutes away (but who’s counting) so they’ll probably be seeing me soon. My friend also recommend getting the banana and cornbread mini loaves.
