NJ Diner Review #289: The Denville Diner

Located in Downtown Denville sits the cozy Denville Diner, a hot spot for breakfast and lunch. It was very busy on a  rainy, Tuesday afternoon.

The diner itself is on the smaller side with a counter that sits 8 and other small tables. They only needed one waitress and one cook on staff to accommodate the entire building.

The diner offers lots of great homemade meals including omelettes, hot cakes, sandwiches, soups, burgers etc. They proclaim to have the best breakfast on Broadway!

Items on their Menu that Stood Out:
– Their famous hash which inspired their slogan “Be Happy, Eat Hash!”
– chicken or eggplant souvlaki
– Greek home fries
– oatmeal quinoa
– homemade Mac and cheese
hand pressed burgers and steak sandwiches

Since I wasn’t feeling too hungry I kept my meal simple. I saw that had a homemade spinach turkey burger which came on brioche bread and I decided that would be perfect.

It was! I decided not to get any sides like chips or fries. The burger was more than enough for me.

With fresh quality ingredients and affordable prices, the Denville Diner was definitely a great NJ dining experience. I highly recommend visiting and shopping in this cute downtown.
