The Club Diner in Bellmawr: Review
I have driven past the Club Diner more times than I can remember. Whenever I take the NJ turnpike and get off at exit 3…it’s just a few miles down the road. So it was only a matter time before I got a chance to eat there.
Featuring lots of chrome on the inside and outside, the Club Diner definitely gives off a “classic NJ diner vibe”.
I went to diner around 11am, but was only offered the breakfast menu which I found odd. Oh well. Breakfast is always a good meal for me!
They offer a lot of great breakfast options that are all super affordable. All their breakfasts are pretty standard for a diner; omelets, waffles, French toast, pancakes, and interestingly enough a rib eye steak with two eggs. Not too shabby!
Since it was technically brunch time, I decided to go with a breakfast sandwich especially because it was one of the best deals on the menu. For under $7, I got 2 eggs, cheddar cheese, and turkey sausage on a sub roll with a side hash browns.
The best part? When I asked for my home fries to be well done, the waitress countered with “well done or deep fried? We do both”.
I went with well done, but still. The option!
My husband might have gotten the best deal at the Club Diner, the “Dueces Wild Breakfast Special”. For $9 he got two eggs, two pancakes, two strips of bacon, 2 pieces of sausage, home fries, and toast.
So big it doesn’t even fit in a picture!
Overall I was very pleased with my trip to the Club Diner. It’s good to know there’s an affordable 24 hour diner spot when taking a road trip!
