The East Coast’s Largest Touch-A-Truck Returns to Freehold This Fall October 4th
The 4th Annual Charlotte Joy Touch-A-Truck Festival is rolling back into town on Saturday, October 4, 2025, at the East Freehold Showgrounds, with a rain date set for October 5. Running from 10 AM to 3 PM, this beloved family-friendly event is the largest Touch-A-Truck on the East Coast and serves as an exciting day of fun for a cause.
All proceeds from the festival benefit The Ashley Lauren Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to helping New Jersey children and families navigate the challenges of childhood cancer. The event is held in memory of Charlotte Joy Scalese, a 6-year-old Foundation child who bravely battled Stage 4 neuroblastoma before passing away in 2023.

Attendees can look forward to an impressive display of vehicles, including fire trucks, first responder units, classic cars, vintage buses, tri-axle dump trucks, excavators, school buses, exotics, race cars, roll-offs, and big rigs. Highlights also include the Oscar Mayer Wienermobile, a Re/Max hot air balloon, the East Monmouth Fun Bus, and even a helicopter landing.

Beyond the trucks, families will enjoy over a dozen food trucks, live stage entertainment, music, and child-friendly activities such as face painting, pony rides, and mechanical rides by Amazing Amusements. The festival also features a bubble show by NJ Bubble Parties, a mobile gaming arcade by Autocades, GellyBall South Jersey’s shooting range, and a visit from the NY Teacup piggies. The Kids Zone and rides are made possible thanks to sponsorship from If You Can Dream It Travel and T&D Distributors. To sweeten the day, the first 240 families to arrive will receive a free Wawa soft pretzel.
The event is made possible by generous sponsors, including Big Rig Sponsors Railroad Construction Company, AC HESSE, Nothing Bundt Cakes (Toms River & Howell), and Paymint Merchant Services; Convoy Sponsors Wegmans, H&H Appliance, Custom Pool Pros, Twist & Tie Balloon Designs, LLC., Reynolds Family Foundation, and Stillwell Hansen; and Long Haul Sponsors NJ Natural Gas, Atlantic Physical Therapy, Seashore Pediatric Therapy Center, Fantasy Island LBI, Hunter Truck, Clayton & Sons, Woodhaven Lumber, Luxury Bath NJPA, All American Auto Mall Old Bridge, and Shorepoint Wealth Management.
Vendors, sponsors, and companies wishing to participate with vehicles can contact Laura Scalese, Resource Director of The Ashley Lauren Foundation, at lscalese@ashleylaurenfoundation.org
