Celebrating the Superbowl with River Horse Brewing

While gearing up for a Superbowl Party, I decided to BYOB and bring my own NJ Craft Beer! I brought with my two very different distinct beers from River Horse Brewing – The Mocha Lisa Porter and the Hippotizing IPA.

The Mocha Lisa Porter is an limited edition imperial porter brewed with oats, lactose, vanilla, and cocoa, then aged on Ugandan coffee beans. The creaminess of chocolate blends with the robust flavor and aroma of the coffee to create this deliciously decadent porter. 9% ABV

If you’re looking for a unique porter…this one is for you! The beer is currently available in 16oz cans, and on draft for pints, flights, and growler fills at River Horse Brewing.

The Hippotizing IPA is an American IPA is a cross between the West Coast and New England styles. Perfect for IPA fans! It’s brewed with a pale malt profile to allow the hops to shine through, then dry hopped with over two pounds per barrel worth of Mosaic. 7.5% ABV.

Luckily this beer is available all year round.

Although the game didn’t interest me too well, I did enjoy spending the night with friends, finger food, and of course River Horse Brewing. My beers were definitely more interesting than the halftime show…
