Pulp Adventurecon – Nov 1

Thousands of Pulp Magazines, Vintage Papebacks, Movie Collectibles, Radio Memorabilia and MORE. If your tastes lean toward classic crime fighters, salt-of-the-earth cowboys, damsels in distress, detectives under duress, space travelers with jet-packs, swooning ladies, or just plain weird creatures that cannot be named this is probably an event you would enjoy. Vintage pulp magazines, movie memorabilia, collectible paperbacks, original artwork, and even some new media turn up.

6th Annual Harvest Fest & NJ Microbrew Night – Nov 1

St. James Men of Charity will host their 6th annual Harvest Fest & NJ Microbrew Night on Saturday November 1st. – 6:00 PM at the St. James School Gymnasium – 195 South Finley Ave, Basking Ridge, NJ. The proceeds of the event will benefit Men of Charity projects targeted for local families in urgent need. There will be German Fest foods and music as well as microbrews from NJ craft brewers. Carton Brewing, Cricket Hill Brewery and Flying Fish Brewery headline a group of local breweries that include: Boak’s Brewing, Climax Brewery, Trap Rock Brewery, Ramstein, East Coast Brewing, Uno’s Chicago Grill, and more. Amateur brewers will compete in Home Brew contest. A Tricky Tray raffle is planned. Tickets are only $40. They include a commemorative tasting glass, food, wine, soda, and microbrews. There will also be on an on site babysitting service (3 years and older) offered by the St James RFL Committee for $20 per family.

Harvest Food Truck and Wine Festival – Nov 1 & 2

First ever Harvest Food Truck and Wine Festival. The event will feature cuisine from the region’s most award-winning food trucks and live music by The VooDUDES. Admission includes entrance to the event, parking, and music. $10 for adults 21 and older, $5 for ages 13 to 20, and children 12 and under are free. Reservations are not required.Wine tastings are available for an additional $10 per person, 21 and older, which includes eight samplings of our nationally award-winning wines in an etched Alba Vineyard wine glass.

Hometown Heroes Zombie Run –  Nov 2

The Hometown Heroes Zombie 5K Fun Run is the event of the season! Hosted on 100 acres at Argos Farm in Forked River, NJ, the Zombie 5K will feature apocalyptic obstacles, including a giant corn maze. We’ll also have free face painting at The Zombification Station by professional make-up artists. The Arts Council of Princeton and the Princeton Shopping Center present the annual Day of the Dead celebration.
