Lighthouse International Film Festival
June 5 – 9

The Lighthouse Film Festival on Long Beach Island, NJ is more than just a film festival, but a unique beach-centric experience like no other. Join for the sun, the sea and the cinema. An event that was recognized twice by MovieMaker magazine as one of “The 25 Coolest Film Festivals in the World”. In addition to watching films, festivalgoers can rub shoulders with producers and directors, attend filmmaker discussion groups and party at after-hours special events with the actors and other creators.

Annual Bayshore Greek Fest
June 6 – 9

Enjoy a taste of Greek Culture with Greek food, pastry, specialty items, folk dancing, music, rides, games, and prizes. Some of the mouth-watering gourmet menu items include traditional lamb shanks, pastitsio, moussaka, cheese and spinach pies (tiropites and spanakopites) and so much more! Complimenting the food is the culture of Greece. Festival goers will have the chance to partake in and also watch traditional Greek folk dances that are performed by costumed children from the various Kimisis dance groups. Music and entertainment is presented all weekend long. Free parking is provided at the St. Benedict’s Catholic Church, a half mile from Kimisis Tis Theotokou, and a free shuttle transports visitors to the festival. On-site parking is available for visitors who need easy access to the festival.

Annual Feast of St. Anthony

This annual festival will feature delicious food, non-stop entertainment with live music, amusements, games, and fun for the whole family. After the Noon Mass on Sunday, there will be a procession through the streets with the statue of St. Anthony accompanied with music.

The Haddon Township Parade “STRUT with PRIDE event” will take place on Haddon Avenue between Crystal Lake Ave. and Strawbridge Ave. The Starting Line for the parade will be sent to confirmed participants and is just a short walk from the parade. Mark your calendars for the HT PRIDE PARADE + AFTER PARTY, taking place on Thursday, June 6th, from 6-10 p.m. along Haddon Avenue (RSVP via Facebook). This year’s parade promises to be a vibrant showcase of LGBTQ+ and ally performers, organizations, and community volunteers, coming together to create an unforgettable parade experience. Starting at the corner of Crystal Lake and Haddon Avenues, the parade will culminate in a festive after-party at Haddon Square, featuring music, entertainment, dancing, food, and drinks.

Continue the celebration with on Friday, June 7th, for the HT PRIDE + PROGRESS COMMUNITY NIGHT from 5:30-9:30 p.m. at Haddon Square (RSVP via Facebook). This event is an open invitation to the community and beyond to embrace and celebrate LGBTQ+ Pride in all its forms. It’s an opportunity to acknowledge the achievements of LGBTQ+ pioneers and immerse yourself in LGBTQ+ history, all while enjoying the company of local LGBTQ+-friendly vendors and allies. The evening will be enriched with educational and celebratory resources, Pride Quizzo, performances, and the much-loved Drag Queen Lip Sync Battles.

38th Annual Lebanese Festival

It’s time for the 38th Annual Lebanese Festival! Better known as a Mahrajan, this Festival is a great outdoor gathering of families, friends and neighbors for authentic Middle Eastern food, music, dance and culture. Traditional Lebanese foods such as falafel, shawarma (gyro), hummus, spinach pies, tabouhli, stuffed grape leaves and much more will be featured. In addition, there will be a large assortment of Middle Eastern pastries to indulge in. For entertainment, there will be live music featuring a different singer each day. There will also be dancing and folkloric performances along with raffles, prizes, souvenirs and games of chance. Because of the abundance of Middle Eastern cuisine, live music, dancing, and games, the Lebanese Festival is recognized as one of the most outstanding annual events in the community. People from throughout New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and the Tri-State region regularly attend. Admission and parking are FREE and everyone is invited!

Annual Flemington Opa! Festival

Enjoy Greek food, shopping, fun, and entertainment. Guests can dine indoors or outside under the tent, enjoying classic oven baked items and popular grill selections such as souvlaki and gyros. Pride In Pitman
June 8, 8 am – 3 pm
Join the Pride Alliance of Pitman in celebration and honor of LGBTQIA+ people past, present, and future at the PRIDE in Pitman event. The event will feature food, music, and lots of great vibes, with the addition of a beer garden this year. It will start at 8:00 AM with a Rainbow Fun Run and Costume Contest, followed by Seeds of Love yoga at 9:00 AM. At 10:00 AM, food and craft vendors and local organization tents will open, alongside a Dance Fitness session. The welcome and guest speakers will commence at 11:00 AM, followed by Drag Queen Story Time at 11:30 AM. Live music will play at 12:15 PM to 2:00 PM, with a Dance Party in the Courtyard starting at 1:30 PM.

Stafford Founders Day

This year’s theme is “Red, White & You – Celebrating 275 Years of Stafford Township and Our 60th Founders Day!”! Stafford Founders Day kicks off with a hometown parade at 10 a.m., leaving from the Fire House on Stafford Avenue and heading towards Route 9 North. All other festivities will take place at the Doc Cramer Sports Complex. The event also includes the crowning of Little Miss Stafford, Little Town Crier, Junior Miss Stafford and Miss Stafford. Entertainment will be provided by Ridgemont High. There will be food trucks, vendors and rides. The day will end with a spectacular fireworks display at dusk.

South Jersey’s History Fair

The goal of South Jersey’s History Fair is to provide a networking opportunity while exposing and piquing the interest of the public to what local South Jersey history has to offer. Glassboro’s CommUNITY Day
June 8, 11 am – 3 pm

Glassboro’s Annual CommUNITY Day at Town Square is set to draw over 3,000 attendees for games, food, and entertainment. The free event, rain or shine, features a parade at 11 a.m. down Rowan Blvd., led by the Glassboro High School Marching Band. A Professional Pace offers free haircuts for kids, and 50 vendors sell artisan goods and food. Entertainment includes Creative Glassboro’s Children’s Theatre and Glassboro High School’s Choir. The Kid’s Zone offers free face painting, an obstacle course, and basketball pickup games with the Glassboro Police Athletic League (PAL). Attendees can also learn about various charitable and non-profit organizations. Complimentary parking is available in all Glassboro lots and Nexus garages.

Rose Day Festival

The City of East Orange along with the Arts Council of East Orange will host its annual MACFest (Music + Arts + Culture) Festival June 8th. It is presented by the Arts Council of East Orange, in conjunction with the City of East Orange, and produced by Briclyn Entertainment Inc. MACFest, is FREE and open to the public, showcase musical artists, foster friendships in the community, promote local businesses and provide the opportunity for new and visiting residents to explore the rich and vibrant history of the City of East Orange. NJMP Free Food Truck Festival
June 8, 4 pm

NJMP’s 8th Annual TD Bank Food Truck & Music Festival on June 8, 2024, starting at 4pm, features top food trucks from New Jersey and Pennsylvania, live music, family games, and more. Attendees can enjoy a wide variety of food options for purchase, from classic southern bites to Asian fusion cuisine, with trucks like Hand’s Down BBQ, Noodle Wagon, Bella Ciao Pizza, and more. Bring your own seating for maximum enjoyment, as most of the festival will be on grass. Medford Village’s flower-lined Main Street comes alive each 2nd Sunday in June as tents are filled with creative arts, colorful crafts, fine wine, and good food. Jersey wineries and Medford’s local breweries are interspersed between the arts and crafts booths while local bands play music throughout the afternoon. The whole family can enjoy a variety of entertainment activities and performers. The Festival is in its 33rd year and typically brings in approximately 10,000 fun seekers from across the Delaware Valley in just one day.
