Brick’s Summerfest Concert Series w/ Fireworks

Summerfest will be held on four Thursdays in July, 2021, each concert event will be followed by fireworks. A food court and beer and wine garden for guests ages 21 and over will be available for each concert.

Mount Holly’s Independence Day Celebration

Mount Holly Township will be hosting their annual Independence Day Celebration on Saturday, July 3, 2021 from 6 to 10 p.m. This event is open to the public – admission, and shows are all FREE of charge, food and drink are available for purchase onsite. Sponsored by Lucas Automotive Group, PSE&G, and Comcast, this year’s celebration will feature a variety of fun, family-friendly, free activities that run the spectrum from free water ice and balloon animals for kids to events for families of all ages and much more. Additionally, the event will boast more than 35 different food vendors from around the region offering delicious culinary options from around the world sure to satisfy everyone’s palate. Free Canoes & Kayaks at Scotland Run Park

Canoes and kayaks will be available at the Scotland Run Park beach area. Saturdays and Sundays only, from June 12 through September 5. The boats are available beginning at 9 am and the last boat launch is at 3 pm. Boats are on a first come, first serve basis. All children 14 years and younger, must be accompanied by an adult. Life jackets and paddles are provided. Masks and social distancing are required when checking in. See you on the water!

Blueberry Summer Fest Markets

Blueberry Summer Fest Saturday Markets will run All Blueberry Season Long at Whitesbog! Order a plant, a flat of fresh local blueberries, local blueberry pie in advance. July 4th Hike to Revolutionary War Powder Mill
July 4, 11AM – 12PM

Celebrate our nation’s birth with a hike along Patriots’ Path to the archaeological site of Jacob Ford Jr.’s Powder Mill. A visit to the archaeological site of the oldest remaining Revolutionary-Era powder mill site located along the Whippany River will offer insight into how a small wooden structure with a dirt/rock-lined floor was crucial in our fight for independence. A vital resource during the Revolutionary War, recent research has shown evidence that the mill was used for the critical remanufacture of damaged gun powder. The remanufactured powder was then disbursed to troops in the field and to Gen. Henry Knox’s cantonment near Pluckemin.

Billian Legion Park hosts summer movie nights, complete with themes, giveaways, and refreshments. The movies are free, but registration is required. You are welcome to bring chairs and sit outside your vehicle. Gates open at 7:15pm for parking. The movie will start between 8:30pm and 8:50pm depending on sunset as it needs to be dark enough to see the picture on the screen.
