3 Year Anniversary! Thank you for your Support!
Three years ago today I started a blog that I didn’t think anyone would read or see. Now I’m my own boss with my own business? Crazy!
The past three years have been very good to me. I have been on lots of New Jersey adventures, been invited to lots of great events, reviewed lots of restaurants, breweries, and vineyards and made friends along the way.
My friends and family have been with me from the beginning. I love being able to take them with me on adventures and showing them new things.
My husband Doug has been incredibly supportive, and is always my favorite (additional) photographer.
Our social media presence has grown beyond my wildest dreams. We now have over 40,000 followers on Facebook and 45,000 on Instagram. It’s wild, organic, and would not be possible without YOU…so thank you!I can’t thank the people enough who have been nothing but supportive. Really. Truly. It drives me and keeps me going.
In year four I’ll continue to grow the site and add even more content. Let’s get New Jersey the recognition it deserves and support local businesses!
Highlights from this past year include running an event at Devil’s Creek Brewery, renewing my wedding vows at Laurita Winery, and judging the Sea Isle City Food Truck Festival (just to name a few).
Oh yeah…and the NJisntBoring donut at Purple Glaze in Asbury Park!
Things I have been consistent about since the mere beginnings:
– Diner reviews every Sunday at 6pm. I have every diner listed on my site, and if I reviewed them I will put the review right under the diner info. I also have them all together on Pinterest.
– Events; Nerdy in NJ, Wine, Craft Beer and Food Truck Events. All updated weekly
– Lists of diners, food trucks and other great food in NJ
– Day Trip Ideas including towns to visit, flea markets, aquariums, zoos, sports areas and more
NJIB is 100% focused on events and things to do in New Jersey. We offer a weekly “Things to Do this Weekend” post which is posted every Tuesday at 6pm. I also tell you about our day trips and adventures on the website as well as on Instagram. Discovering new things to do in New Jersey has always been a passion of mine and I’m so happy I can share it with you readers.
In addition to submitting event, you can advertise your business and/or event on NJIB’s. Click HERE to find out how.
There is lot more great content coming soon! Thank you so much for support and thank you reading!
I can’t wait to see what year 4 brings!
