2017 BOURBON STREET BLUES FEST Set for May

For those who fondly remember the classic live performances that took place at the legendary mountain stage at Waterloo Concert Field – The Allman Brothers, Bob Dylan immediately come to mind-live music will once again fill the stage-a brand new one-Waterloo Concert Field, Stanhope, NJ.  The weekend of May 20-21 will bring the 10th Bourbon Street Blues Fest to Waterloo and the headliners are (respectively): Kenny Wayne Shepherd (Saturday) and Robert Cray (Sunday).

The Bourbon Street Blues Fest will be celebrate its 10th anniversary.  Previous years the fest took place in Califon, NJ and as it became an annual event, highly anticipated.  It has grown exponentially and the 10th anniversary promises to be the biggest and the best to date.  The showmen behind the Bourbon Street Blues Fest, Point Mountain Entertainment, felt it was time to take the fest to a new musical level.  The concert site at Allamuchy State Park was a logical choice.

The talent support will include both local and national blues artists:  Above Ground Blues Band, Bob Lanza Blues Band, Lee Delray, Bernard Alison, Mike Zito, The Fins, Billy Hector and Bonerama.  Please note that artist schedule times of performance are subject to change.

The Blues Foundation (Memphis) and the Delta Blues Museum (Clarksdale, MS) are both affiliated with BSBF as both organizations herald and chronicle the blues-arguably the only true American art form.

Tickets are on sale now- General Admission $45, 2 day pass $80, Event Day Gate Admission $50 and VIP $195 daily.  Parking is free and will be open to the public that weekend at 10:30am and there are set discounts for current military and senior citizens.  Concert gates open Saturday and Sunday at 11:30am.

No tailgating and no coolers are permitted and the BSBF organizers guarantee there will be ample “festival and blues-leaning food” and beer on site.  Since it is a New Jersey State Park, we encourage fans to keep the site clean and recycling bins will be in abundance.
