New Jersey Isn’t Boring Art Show – Oct 19
New Jersey Isn’t Boring is SO happy to announce it’s first art show, to be held at the Rail House in Rahway, NJ on Sunday, October 19th at 5pm. This event is part of a weekly event called called Soft Sounds and Creative Wonders run by the Rail House. It features acoustic musicians and local artwork.
The event will feature 3 artists whose work represents NJ. The three artists will be Chris Ernst, Corey Hudson, and Scott Modrzynski.

Autumn Wine Festival – Oct 18 & 19
The Autumn Wine Festival is coming to the RiverWinds Community Center in West Deptford this year. It takes place on Saturday, October 18th, and Sunday, October 19th from 12-5. Not only will this festival feature 12 local NJ wineries with over 200 different wines to taste, but also live music, food trucks, and fall activities for the kids, making it fun for the whole family.

Stafford Fall Wine Festival – Oct 18 & 19
The Stafford Township Fall Harvest Wine Festival at Manhawkin Lake Park will be held October 18th and 19th, 12 noon to 5 pm, rain or shine. The festival features wine tasting by New Jersey wineries, along with food, crafters, vendors, and live music. Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or a blanket to sit and enjoy the music. Admission is $12 in advance or $15 at the gate for adults 21 years and older. Under 21 years of age or designated drivers are free. Advance tickets can be purchased, visit website. The Stafford Township Fall Wine Festival is sponsored by TD Bank and WJRZ 100.1. The festival will offer sampling from some of New Jersey’s leading wineries, participating are Cava Winery, DiMatteo Winery, Monroeville Vineyard & Winery, Plagido’s Winery, Southwind Vineyard & Winery, Tomasello Winery, and Valenzano Winery. Dozens of varieties of wines will be available; each paid admission includes a commemorative wine glass.

Opening Reception for Artist of the Month Show at AGNJ – Oct 19
Arts Guild New Jersey is pleased to present The 2014 Artists of the Month Art Exhibit, featuring the artwork of twelve winners from our 2014 Artist of the Month competition. The exhibition, which opens on October 19 and runs through November 13, 2014 will have a free, public reception on Sunday, October 19th, 1-4 PM, at Arts Guild New Jersey, 1670 Irving Street, Rahway, NJ 07065. Gallery Hours are Mon-Thurs 10am-3pm, Fri: 10am to 1pm, Sat & Sun: 1-4pm or by appointment for groups of 10 or more. The exhibition is wheelchair accessible.
In 2013, Arts Guild New Jersey presented an open juried competition in order to select twelve artists who were featured one per month on our website as an Artist of The Month starting in January 2014. The artists featured are: Michael Benevenia, Cathleen Parra, Bill Ross, Linda Jacobs, Chiara Chandoha, Norma Greenwood, Sharon Heyward, Tania Sen, Raul Villarreal, Patricia A. Bender, Susan Evans Grove, and Richard Buntzen. Their work shows not only great skill and talent, but a broad range of styles and mediums and genres.
