NJ State Fair – Now – Aug 10

Where Farm Meets Fun! The New Jersey State Fair/Sussex County Farm & Horse Show features agricultural events and education, animals, exhibits, horse shows, carnival, petting zoo, crafts and vendors, flower and vegetable shows, art and photography, 4-H, chainsaw artist and auction of carved pieces, fair food, free entertainment and much more! Somerset County 4-H Fair – Aug 6 – 8

Here is some information on the Somerset County 4-H Fair : Since 1948, thousands of visitors have enjoyed the Somerset County 4-H Fair. The Fair has grown and changed, but there are still no admission or parking fees, no midway or carnival rides. This Fair recognizes the accomplishments of 1,000 Somerset County 4-H members and is a showcase for visitors to see a wide variety of 4-H projects in action.

Seaside on Tap Beer Festival – Aug 7

The Seaside On Tap Beer Festival is Thursday, August 7th at the Seaside Park Municipal Lot from 7pm to 10pm!

The three-hour premium event will showcase over 120 releases from more than 60 of America’s best craft breweries. Attendees will receive an unlimited sampling of beers, in an atmosphere filled with live music, delicious food available for purchase, and great vendors.

What better way to spend a Thursday evening in August than with great friends, amazing beer, delicious food and live music! Must be 21+ to attend.

Ticket Info: $30 in advance, $40 at the door and includes admission into the event, a 5 oz. souvenir tasting glass and 3 hours of unlimited sampling.

Just Jersey Food Truck Festival – Aug 9

 

The Just Jersey Food Truck Festival is  fun filled family day filled with food trucks, a beer garden and live music. Free face painting from 11am to 5pm!

Cape May Craft Beer and Crab Festival – Aug 9th

Mark your calendar for Saturday, August 9th, for the third annual Cape May Craft Beer and Crab Festival. This FREE event will take place at the beautiful grounds of the Emlen Physick Estate, 1048 Washington St., Cape May for an all-day festival featuring local and regional craft beers to wash down favorite summer picnic foods/

• All-day music on outdoor stage.
• An old-fashioned Victorian circus with jugglers and acrobats from the The Give & Take Jugglers Little Circus.
• Plus crafts and food vendors

There will be a charge for food, beverages and some activities. Commemorative T-shirts will be available.

Hollystock Music and Arts Festival– Aug 9

Hollystock is a unique music festival presented by Main Street Mount Holly and the Hollystock planning committee. Their purpose is to drive the economy of Mt. Holly by promoting its diverse business community, drawing attention to our town with the participation of merchants near and far. Their goal is to provide a family-friendly atmosphere of fun and music while supporting charitable causes such as VH1 Save The Music Foundation

Rock the Truck – Aug 9 & 10

Lose Yourself in the Vines – Aug 9 & 10

The vineyard is changing quickly now. Like a baby in the last months of pregnancy, the fruit has finished development and is now swelling in size and sweetness to prepare for harvest. Join us for a walking tour of the vineyard. Learn which grapes have completed verasion; which have reached the half-way mark of sweetness; which are still developing flavor. See the multitude of birds who we are preparing to ban from the vineyard. Observe the various plants that populate the vineyard floor, changing with each season. Then join us for a wine tasting in our newly renovated tasting room. Buy tickets at the door. Tours are free. Feel free to pack a picnic and enjoy your lunch here on our porch or on a blanket down one of the vineyard rows!
