You MUST Check out the Bagel Chateau in Westfield

We here in New Jersey have what I consider the best bagels in the country . That’s right New York; I’m associating value here as well. $3 a bagel does not a person enjoy for breakfast.

My current favorite place to go for all things bagel is Bagel Chateau in Westfield. No matter what day or time you go, there’s always a bit of a line, and that’s because the food is delicious. They make bagels throughout the day, so they are always super fresh, and they make their own tasty cream cheeses to schmear on top.

I’m a huge fan of the mish-mosh (everything), spinach, and rye bagels. The last time I had family visiting they bought 7 dozen to take back home with them. And cream cheeses? House cured lox, veggie, olive, and lots of seasonal offerings.

If you want to go to the hot side, I highly recommend the sandwiches, as you can see by the small remnants I had left before I remembered to take a picture.

They offer a special on weekends after 11am for 2 eggs, a buttered bagel, and home fries. For $3. THREE DOLLARS PEOPLE. Go check this place out, you will not be disappointed
