Working from a Coffee Shop: The Coffee Bar in Milltown
Looking for my next coffee shop to work at, I choose something that was nearby and new to the area I live in. The Coffee Bar in Milltown is a European coffee bar and bistro located on Ryders Lane.
The inside of the Coffee Bar is nice and open and there’s plenty of seating. Perfect for someone like me who just wants to sit at a table and get some work done. There’s also plenty of outlets to charge your computer or phone…plus free WiFi.
The Coffee Bar offers lots of different options for beverages made with Illy coffee, an Italian coffee company. I’ve been to Italy, and the Italians love their coffee and Illy is a very popular brand across Europe.
Beverage #1: Iced Coffee with Almond Milk
I noticed AFTER I ordered they do offer flavored coffee, so my first drink was a standard iced coffee and I added almost milk because my body hates dairy even though I LOVE it.
The Coffee Bar has lots to choose from included chai lattes, cappuccino, macchiato, espresso, frappes, tea and more. Their tea comes from French company Dammann Freres.The even have a signature “Coffee Bar” drink which includes 2 shots of espresso with 2oz drip coffee.
On the food side the cafe offers options for breakfast and lunch including oatmeal, bagels, sandwiches, cake slices, tiramisu, chocolate moose, and more. Their dessert counter is seriously tempting. Creme brulee? Yes, please!
Beverage #2: Chai Latte
Delicious! Also delicious…this chocolate croissant I caved in and bought. I was hungry.
Overall I loved the space of the Coffee Bar, their plethora of drink options, and was very happy sit in the corner and work!
