Where to Catch {Free} Movies in New Jersey in August

One of my favorite things about the Summer is seeing free movies! It gives me a chance to see a movie I haven’t seen in a while, or a newer movie, on a big screen whether it’s in a park, in a downtown area, a beach, or a movie theater! Keep in mind outdoor movies are WEATHER PERMITTING so be sure to check these before heading out (and their rain dates).

Movies at Applegate Farms, Montclair

On Thursday nights throughout July and August, community members gather on the Village Green to enjoy a movie night experience, complete with a 36′ x 24′ outdoor screen, cinema sound, and the projection clarity of today’s best Blu-Ray player.
