Waretown Spring Wine Festival Announces Participating Wineries
Press Release:
The featured wineries for the Second Annual Waretown Spring Wine Festival have been announced today. Here are all of the fun things you can expect to see at the 2016 Waretown Spring Wine Festival.
On Saturday, April 23, through Sunday, April 24, festivalgoers can look forward to sampling wines from a nice variety of award-winning Garden State wineries. Due to the incredible success of last year’s inaugural Waretown Spring Wine Festival, all wineries from last year’s festival will be returning plus two new ones – a list which includes: DiMatteo Winery; Monroeville Vineyards & Winery; Plagido’s Winery; Valenzano Winery; Wagonhouse Winery; Chestnut Run Farms; Sharrott Winery; and CAVA Winery and Vineyard.
In addition to delicious wines, event attendees can also look forward to taking in live musical performances from Astronaut Jones and Hi Fidelity Band, as well as a large number of crafters, retail vendors, and food vendors, such as Cajun Jax BBX, The Empanada Guy, and Jeremiah’s Mobile Concessions.
Proceeds from the event go to benefit Sylvia’s Children, a 501(c)3 nonprofit working the past 13 years to improve the living conditions for more than 1,000 children living in Uganda. Sponsors for the Second Annual Waretown Spring Wine Festival include the Asbury Park Press and WJRZ radio.
The festival will be held in the beautiful Waretown Recreation and Lake Area, located at 182 Wells Mill Road and will be held each day from 12 p.m. noon to 5 p.m. rain or shine.
The cost to attend is $12 in advance or $15 at the gate for those over 21. Designated drivers are allowed in for free.
