Vineyard Review: Terhune Orchards
This past weekend I had a chance to check out Terhune Orchards in Princeton, NJ.

Terhune Orchards has been around since 1975, but the vineyard has only been around since 2010! The tasting room is in their historic 150 year old barn and tastings are from 12 – 5pm; Fri – Sun.
Because the weather was unbelievably crappy on Sunday, we got lucky and had a private wine tasting. We got to try all 10 wines AND this amazing hot sangria which I got the recipe for.
The people who work there really know their stuff and each wine tasted incredible. You know they’re good because they keep winning awards.
We had gotten the wine tasting and glasses with a living social deal, but we ended up walking out with 3 wines! (So much for trying to save money…). Their wines are very reasonably priced so it wasn’t too bad, but we definitely wanted to buy more so we’ll be back! In case you are wondering, the wines we bought were Rooster Red, Just Peachy and Harvest Blues.
After the wine tasting we went to their farm house store and I bought hot apple cider and two(!!) apple cider donuts, which I’m ashamed to say I ate by myself for dinner.
I definitely recommend coming to Terhune Orchards whether it’s just for a wine tasting or for one their events.
If you have a NJ wine passport don’t forget to get it stamped!
