Cape May Holiday Preview Weekend
November 16 – 18
Santa and his elves have decked out the Physick Estate with thousands of lights and holiday trimmings. Enjoy a wide variety of holiday tours and food and wine events to get you into the Christmas spirit. The Physick Estate becomes a Christmas wonderland during the holiday season. The free Carroll Gallery exhibit, An Old-Fashioned Christmas, brings back happy childhood memories, capturing the feeling of Christmas past with model trains, a Dept. 56 Dickens Village beneath the boughs of our giant Christmas tree, and much more (through Jan. 1, 2019). Visit the Estate on Saturday, Nov. 17 at 7pm as Santa arrives to flip the switch for the festive Tree-Lighting Ceremony (sponsored by Sturdy Savings Bank). That evening, the Physick House will be open for free, self-guided tours from 6pm-8pm. Visitors are encouraged to share in the holiday spirit and bring a non-perishable food item for the Cape May Community Food Bank. For kids, there are Santa’s Trolley Rides and a chance to visit with old St. Nick himself. Grown-ups will enjoy holiday ghost tales during Ghosts of Christmas Past Trolley Rides and Holiday Lights Trolley Rides.

Turtle Back Zoo’s Holiday Lights Opening Weekend
November 16 – 18, 5PM – 9PM

Take a winter stroll through the Essex County Turtle Back Zoo this holiday season under the sparkling lights of over 50 winter and animal characters. Celebrate the season of giving by bringing donations of non-perishable food items, new toys, and gently used coats.

Skylands Stadium’s Christmas Light Show Opening Weekend
November 16 – 18, 5PM – 9PM

Skyland’s Spectacular Christmas Light Show & Village is back for its fifth festive year! With more than two million dazzling lights on a mile-long drive-through course, it’s a must-see holiday attraction for your whole family.

Jersey City Beer Fest

Krampus Bazaar presented by Broomstick Betty
November 17, 11AM – 6PM

Come and support local makers for Yule this year! The 2nd Annual Krampus Bazaar is conjuring up a collection of unique makers and vendors like you’ve never seen before! From dark art, jewelry, witchy wares, punk rock goods, and so much more, expect to find gifts for everyone on your list! SickArt Sideshow is returning with new acts to behold! Enjoy local music, eat some amazing food, tour the haunted mansion and take pictures with Krampus!
And…supporting the Krampus Bazaar is good karma! Your admission goes to raising money to support the restoration of the White Hill Mansion to do some desperately needed repairs, and having a great time doing it, while supporting local artists! If that doesn’t get you into the spirit, you must be dead inside. So, gather up your friends and plan to make this year even better than the last!

Holiday Bazaar for The English School at Lawrence Road Presbyterian Church
November 17, 10AM – 4PM
The English School is a warm community of adult immigrant students, teachers, and volunteers working together to improve lives through affordable English language learning. All event proceeds will go towards supporting The English School. Vendors include original artwork, handmade jewelry, handmade signs and home decor, pet themed items, soy candles, handmade soaps, handbags and organizers, skincare and cosmetics, nail art, handmade air plant gardens, knit and crochet items, therapeutic oils, and more! Plus…CUPCAKES!

37th Annual Fall Craft Fair
November 17, 10AM – 4PM
Visit over 100 tables of juried artists and crafters featuring handcrafted items made using a variety of techniques and mediums. The craft fair will also be showcasing holiday décor items and unique everyday items to use year round in and around your home. Many crafters are willing to accept custom design orders to meet your individual gift and personal needs. Visit the bake sale area featuring a large selection of home baked goods, including the school’s famous homemade apple pies. Food concessions will be available all day providing homemade soups, chili, nachos, hot dogs, beverages and fresh baked desserts.

Unionville Vineyard’s Autumn Artisan Market
November 17 & 18, 12PM – 6PM on Sat, 12PM – 5PM Sun

Visit Unionville Vineyards for an afternoon of gourmet foods, artisan crafts, live music, and delicious wine. Do a little holiday shopping or just relax with us in the tasting room, winery floor, or Cave room. Weather permitting, the patio will be open as well.
