Pier Village Restaurant Week
February 20 – 28

Luxurious and located on an iconic stretch of the Jersey shore, the year-round destination of Pier Village in Long Branch, NJ will host its second annual Restaurant Week from February 20th though February 28, 2019. The event celebrates some of the region’s finest flavors and will feature special 3-course, pre-fix meals at participating Pier Village restaurants for $25 or $35. 30th Annual New Jersey Home Show
February 22 – 24

The 30th Annual New Jersey Home Show, Feb. 22-24 at the New Jersey Convention Center in Edison will spotlight more than 200 remodelers, contractors, interior designers, landscapers and kitchen & bath designers. In addition to seeing the latest outdoor furniture styles and spa equipment, visitors will hear design tips from TV personality Laurie Smith from Trading Spaces, attend painting classes, and enjoy the work of artisans and craftsmen.

Polar Bear Plunge
February 23, 8AM – 2PM
Get FREEZIN’ for a REASON! The Polar Bear Plunge at Seaside presented by New Jersey Law Enforcement as part of the year-round fundraising of Law Enforcement Torch Run® events, is a unique opportunity for individuals, organizations and businesses to support Special Olympics New Jersey athletes by jumping into the frigid Atlantic waters during the month of February.

Tropicana Wines from Around the World
February 23, 12PM – 6PM
Sample over 150 of the world’s most popular wines at Tropicana Atlantic City’s Wines From Around the World Festival taking place Saturday, February 23 from noon – 6 p.m. in the Grand Exhibition Center, 4th Floor South Tower. The festival features wineries from the United States, New Zealand, Italy, France, Argentina, Uruguay, Australia, South Africa and more. Featured wineries include, but are not limited to, Artesa, Ruffino, Kim Crawford, Simi, Francis Coppola, Ferrari-Carano, Masi, Vistalba, Paul Goerg. Guests can also enjoy artisan crafters, delicious food available for purchase, and live entertainment by Evolution X from 1 to 5 p.m. Wines will be available for purchase by the bottle or case. Admission includes a souvenir wine glass.

Wine & Spirits Fest at Cape May Convention Hall
February 23, 7PM – 10PM

Come out and sample wines and distilled beverages from top makers (see attached list). We will also be featuring live music from Erik Simonsen, lite fare from the Red Brick Ale House, and over $2000 worth of raffle prizes to be won! The first 200 ticket purchasers will receive a souvenir wine glass at the event!

Winter Artisan Market
February 23 & 24

Visit Unionville for a day of art, artisan crafts, gourmet foods, live music, and delicious wine. Fine producers will join us in the winery, tasting room, and cave room. There is no cost to attend. Tastings are $10. Wine is always available by the bottle, glass, or case. February 24, 10AM – 4PM

Coillectibles show featuring vendors, artists, writers, costume groups. Guests include Joe del Beato (G.I. Joe), Philip McNulty, Neil Vokes, Tom Schloendorn, Matt Parton, Mark Poulton (DC Comics), Dangerous Dan, Carter Cosplay, Philadelphia Avengers and the Star Wars Saber Guild club.

Maple Sugaring Fest at Reeves-Reed Arboretum
February 24, 1PM – 4PM, Snow date is Sunday, March 3

Learn how early settlers tapped maple trees and turned the sap into delicious maple syrup! Take part in our family scavenger hunt and see whether you can successfully complete the “Maple Syrup Challenge”. Round out the day with a sampling of maple syrup made here at the Arboretum!

Cost: Maple Sugaring Fest is FREE for RRA Members and children under 3. The cost for Non-Members is $5 per person, $25 maximum per family.

The First Annual Westfield Chili and Chowder Contest
February 24, 2PM – 4PM

An exciting new event is coming to Westfield! Local restaurants will show off their best Chili and Chowder to residents of Westfield and surrounding areas on February 24 from 2-4pm. The public is invited to attend, taste, and vote for their favorite Chili and Chowder! There will be trophies for Best Chili and Best Chowder. The Westfield Police Department, Westfield Fire Department and Westfield Department of Public Works will compete in their own category. This event will take place at the Town Hall Community Room. 425 E. Broad St, Westfield, NJ
