THE SHANNON ROSE IRISH PUB OFFERS FREE MEALS TO MILITARY ON VETERANS DAY

The Shannon Rose Irish Pub, providing an authentic Irish experience by combining the design and décor of the Emerald Isle with modern amenities and the high-quality food, drink and banter of a traditional public house, today announced it will host a Veterans Day dining special at its Clifton and Ramsey restaurants as a way to say thank you to the brave men and women who have served and currently serve.
On Wednesday, November 11, veterans and active duty military who dine-in at The Shannon Rose Irish Pub are welcome to receive a complimentary entrée and dessert when they dine-in in uniform or show proof of service. Veterans can choose from a select menu of pub favorites, including Dublin Shepherd’s Pie, Harp Battered Fish ‘N Chips, Bangers & Mash, Irish Breakfast and The Dublin Burger, and Homemade Irish Soda Bread Pudding for dessert.

Separately, from November 1 – 25, The Shannon Rose Irish Pub will raise funds to support the Community Food Bank of New Jersey, an organization whose mission is to fight hunger and poverty in New Jersey by assisting those in need and seeking long-term solutions, through its Dine to Donate program, offering guests the opportunity to add $1 or $5 per check to help feed a hungry family during the holiday season. For every dollar donated, Community Foodbank of New Jersey is able to distribute $10 of groceries to feeding programs throughout New Jersey. As an added boost, The Shannon Rose Irish Pub will also match guests’ donations, up to $1,000. Community Food Bank of New Jersey distributes more than 40 million pounds of food annually though their state-wide network of over 1,000 charities, helping to feed nearly one million hungry people each year.
