The 31st Annual Haddonfield Crafts and Fine Art Festival Returns July 12 & 13
The 31st Annual Haddonfield Crafts and Fine Art Festival features more than 200 artists showcasing the best of fine art and craft from the region and beyond. This two-day outdoor Festival, sponsored by Subaru, will be held Saturday, July 12 from 11 am – 7 pm and Sunday, July 13 from 10am – 5 pm.
This year, artists are invited to compete in the Celebrate Haddy Contest, showcasing their unique take on Haddonfield’s famous dinosaur. Haddy was erected in downtown Haddonfield, commemorating the World’s First Dinosaur Skeleton Discovery in 1858. Visitors to the festival often pose with the 8-ft. tall, 18-ft. long bronze dinosaur, honoring Hadrosaurus foulki, the world’s first nearly complete dinosaur skeleton.
Attendees can visit artist booths, restaurants, and shops along Kings Highway between Washington Avenue and Haddon Avenue, along Tanner Street to Euclid Avenue, and the Emerging Artists Area on Kings Court. A curated selection of artists and crafters will exhibit a wide range of work, including ceramics, glass, jewelry, wood, fiber, paper, drawings, paintings, photography, and wearable art.

The Emerging Artists Area on Kings Court will feature several new artists working in various mediums, including student glass blowers from Salem Community College, student ceramic artists from Camden County College, and works by artists from the Perkins Center for the Arts’ Pottery Associates Program and the Markeim Art Center.
The Markeim Arts Center booth will also have a dinosaur-themed make-and-take craft station for kids. Also for families, enjoy face painters, henna, and Morgan & Olivia’s Unique Boutique Slime Shop, where kids can buy slime or make their own to take home!
This free event is easily accessible from area bridges or by taking the PATCO Speed Line to the heart of the shopping district. Parking in Haddonfield is also free on Sunday.
The Festival’s major sponsors are: Subaru of America and Subaru of Cherry Hill, Audacy radio stations B101, 96.5 TDY, and BIG 98.1, and the Sun Newspaper Group / Newspaper Media Group.
Downtown Haddonfield is a charming, tree-lined business district in the heart of South Jersey. The New York Times named the certified historical district “the best collection of shops anywhere in the state.” Haddonfield is five minutes from Cherry Hill, twenty minutes from Center City Philadelphia, and within one hour of the Jersey Shore, Princeton, and Delaware.
