Celebrate All Things Taco at Taco Palooza, July 9th in Hopatcong
Get ready to indulge in a flavorful fiesta as Taco Palooza makes its way to Hopatcong, NJ on Sunday, July 9th, 203. This exciting event, which is a benefit for Hopatcong Little League and PBA 149, invites taco enthusiasts and food lovers alike to celebrate their passion for tacos and enjoy a day filled with delicious food, live music, and vibrant festivities.
Taco Palooza brings together a variety of culinary delights from NJ food trucks, restaurants, chefs, and more. Attendees can savor mouthwatering tacos while enjoying a selection of beer, sangria, and margaritas. From traditional tacos to unique and creative flavors, there will be something to satisfy every palate. Visitors can even participate in the People’s Choice Awards for the Top Traditional Taco, Trendsetter Taco, and Loco Taco, adding an exciting element of friendly competition to the event.
For those seeking an extra dose of fun and fitness, the event will also host the “RUN TO THE TRUCK 5K” race, taking place before the festival. Participants in the 5K race will receive admission to Taco Palooza, and can enjoy a spirited run through the neighborhoods of Hopatcong while supporting two important local charities.
The event will showcase a lineup of talented taco vendors, including Carinderia on Wheels, Chick Wings & Things, Chef J’s Latin Fusion, Cousins Maine Lobster, El Lechon De Negron, Julios on Main, L’Aquario, Senor Tacos, Taco Daisis, Taco Papi, Tortas Lokas, Uncle Sals Egg Rolls, and Viva Birria. For those with a sweet tooth, House of Cupcakes, Cold Stone Creamery, and Johnny Zeppoli will provide an array of tempting sweets and treats.
The event will also feature a dedicated Beer, Sangria, and Margarita Garden for those looking to sip and savor refreshing beverages throughout the festivities.
Beyond the culinary offerings, Taco Palooza promises a lively atmosphere with live music and performances by popular acts such as Uncle Johns Band, Country Comfort, and Danger Dogs. Attendees can groove to the rhythm and immerse themselves in the festive ambiance.
To support the local community, Taco Palooza encourages all attendees to bring a non-perishable canned or boxed item to help support the local food pantry. It’s an opportunity to give back to those in need and make a positive impact.
In addition to the food and entertainment, the event will feature a range of activities for both kids and adults to enjoy. Kids can have a blast with bungee trampolines, bounce houses, slides, knockerball, face painting, sand art, a petting zoo, pony rides, and more. Vendors will also be present, offering a variety of products and services to explore.
Attendees are encouraged to come hungry and thirsty and are welcome to bring chairs, blankets, and pop-ups for their comfort throughout the event. Pre-purchase tickets are available for $5 per person, while on-site admission will be $7 per person. Children under 5 can enter for free.
