Sunday Brunch: Meemom’s in Wall Twp, NJ
When your friend is in town for brunch from across the country and you want to impress her…we go to Meemom’s! Meemom’s was chosen as the next location for our ongoing “Sunday Brunch” series as it’s been recommended over and over.
If you have followed my Diner Reviews (300+ and counting!) I have frequented many with my friend and fellow diner enthusiast Hollie aka FueledbyLOLZ. Sadly, Hollie moved to California in 2020, so when she told me she was back in NJ for the day we knew that we’d have to visit a diner/diner adjacent location.
Meemom’s, which opened in 2013, is the creation of co-owners Camryn and Sean who wanted to open a local’s breakfast spot in honor of Camryn’s late grandmother, Meemom. Their popularity is due to their creative take on breakfast and lunch classics which are all made-to-order with their family recipes (patience is required).

Their most popular dish is their French Toast, which comes in a variety of 15+ options including an “FTOTM” (French Toast of the Month).
French Toast dishes include their “French Cakes” (dipped in pancake batter & fried, topped with powdered sugar & cinnamon), “CAP’N Crunch” (coated in Cap’n Crunch© cereal, topped with powdered sugar, finished with raspberry sauce), “YOLO aka You Obviously Love Oreos” (topped with French vanilla mascarpone, Oreos© & powdered sugar, finished with vanilla & chocolate sauce) and “Cookie Doughn’t You Want Some” (stuffed with brownies & French vanilla mascarpone, topped with chocolate chip cookies & powdered sugar, finished with chocolate & vanilla sauce).

If French Toast isn’t your thing, Meemom also has pancakes, waffles, eggs, omelets, breakfast bowls, and even healthy options!
If caffeine is your thing they have an extensive coffee bar that includes endless coffee, cold brew, chocolate, caramel, the “Crazy Grandpa” (French vanilla, milk, and espresso topped with whipped cream, and drizzled with chocolate & caramel sauce), the “Cookie Monster” (chocolate chip cookie dough, chocolate, milk & espresso topped with whipped cream, chocolate chips, and drizzled with
vanilla sauce), hot chocolate, and much more.
I indulged in a Vanilla Chai Latte which was DELICIOUS!
For lunch, you can find salads, sandwiches, wraps, and epic grilled cheese sandwiches. I ordered the ABC Grilled Cheese made with avocado spread, thick-cut bacon, tomatoes, and cheddar served on sourdough.
