Spring Food Truck Fiesta Set for April 18, 2015

The weather is finally beginning to warm up and it’s time to celebrate! There are not many places where you can indulge in delicious lobster rolls, rosemary marinated steak sandwiches, vegetarian tacos, empanadas, gourmet sliders, fried Wisconsin cheese curds, slow smoked barbeque ribs & pork sandwiches, chili, crepes, yak burgers, wood fired pizza, Mexican tacos; tater tots; Korean BBQ, crepes, schnitzel, gourmet cupcakes, tacos, and melt-in-your-mouth, made-on-the-truck donuts all in one place.
The area’s best food trucks are scheduled to roll into Mercer County Park for the 1st time this year, for the SPRING Food Truck Fiesta on Saturday, April 18th from 11am to 7pm. (Rain or Shine). This family-friendly, pet-friendly event will not only offer delicious food, but also a variety of children’s activities, such as a race track, several bounce houses, pony rides, petting zoo, human hamster balls, and an all-ages interactive art installation.
Hopewell Valley Winery will be bringing some of their great varietals of wine to pair with the delicious food. A Beer truck will also be serving our favorite beers on tap.
This year the event, presented by Stark & Stark, will benefit Trenton-based One Simple Wish; an organization committed to brightening the lives of abused & neglected children one simple wish at a time.
The 3rd Food Truck Fiesta will feature live music by Philadelphia Funk Authority, Kindred Spirit and Jason Didner and The Jungle Gym Jam.
Food trucks that are participating in this year’s event include: Amandas Bananas, Baron von Schwein, Bonjour Creperie, Brazilian BBQ, Cow and the Curd; Cupcake Carnivale; Dark Side of the Moo; Empanada Guy; The Feed Truck, Five Sisters Catering; Flying Deutschman; Food Truck 7; Kami, I Love the Pizza Wagon, Luscious Bakery; Oink & Moo BBQ; The Outslider; PB&U; Pompier Catering, Surf and Turf Truck; Tot Cart; Waffle De leys; Whirly Pig; Underground Donuts;
Bring your appetite and the family and toast your buns by the Fire Pits!
There is a $5 admission (children 2 and under Free), of which 50% of the proceeds will benefit One Simple Wish and their mission to grant simple wishes to abused and neglected children. The admission fee covers all children’s activities and live music.
Over 6,000 attendees are expected and sponsorships are still available!
