The 2nd Annual Sea Isle City Food Truck Invitational Set for June
The best food trucks will be returning to the shore for the 2nd Annual Sea Isle City Food Truck Invitational. This year’s event will take place June 24 to June 26 on the property of Kix McNutley’s, 63rd and Landis Ave. in Sea Isle City.
Among the group of food trucks coming to Sea Isle City this year will included a chef that was recently featured on the Food Network. Tiffany Negron, of El Lechon de Negron, was on the April 21 edition of Cooks vs. Cons. The event will also feature the 2015 winner of the Taste of Three Cities, Sum Pig.
Some of the other confirmed trucks for this year include the winner of the 2015 Sea Isle City Food Truck Festival’s best overall truck, Five Sisters, and Shore Shake, which was named the best dessert truck at last year’s festival as well.
“We are very excited about the line up we have for this year’s event,” said Festival Owner Denis Brown. “This is just the beginning of the announcements. We have a lot more amazing trucks to talk about in the coming weeks.”
Plus, the Sea Isle City Food Truck events have been named a Top Food Truck Festival in the country by Vacation Idea.
This year’s hours for the event will be noon to 8 p.m. on Friday June 24, and Saturday June 25, along with noon to 5 p.m. on Sunday June 26.
The Sea Isle City Food Truck Invitational includes at least 16 food trucks, crafters, live music, and a play area for the kids.
“We try to have a little something for everyone,” said Brown. “We think we have a lot of fun things in store for the 2016 food truck events in Sea Isle City.”
Craft beer, cocktails, and other drinks are available on-site via the bar at Kix McNutley’s. Patrons can eat outside or bring their food inside and enjoy a drink.
There is no fee to enter the Sea Isle City Food Truck Invitational.
