Press Release:

Remember Jones Announces Debut LIVE Album Recording Show at The Strand Theater March 4th with 25-Piece Orchestra; Tickets Available Through Online Campaign

New Jersey soul sensation Remember Jones, applauded throughout the past year for his exciting live performances with bands double-digit in size, announces the recording of a long-awaited debut album, Remember Jones: LIVE… and alive!, on Friday March 4th at The Strand Theater (400 Clifton Ave., Lakewood, NJ).

This is the first time a local artist has attempted a debut live recording with a 25-piece orchestra, which will include a string quartet, horn section, choir, flute, vibes, several keyboards and Hammond B3 organ, and more. It will include brand new original material written by Jones and members of the band, as well as contributions from other local songwriters and his notorious throwback spins on other tunes.
In true Remember Jones fashion, this will be a show experience, where the audience will not only be a part of the recording but get to see how a live recording works. “There’s something that happens during our live shows that is hard to get down in a studio,” says Jones. “I want to squash the ‘yeah, but can they do it live?!’ question before anyone even has a chance to ask.”

Tickets are currently only available through his online IndieGogo campaign where he is trying to raise $16,667 to complete this experience. With every donation, you will be automatically put on a list and contacted before the March 4th show with how many general admission tickets you need. Donations include many other perks: buying the album in advance, t-shirts/posters, a home cooked meal from Remember Jones and, the maximum option, a Choose Your Own Remember Jones show, where you can pick an album or live show to be recreated with his orchestra. He has sold-out venues with album recreations of Joe Cocker’s Mad Dogs & Englishmen, Amy Winehouse’s Back to Black, R. Kelly’s Trapped in the Closet, and more upcoming.
