Fire and Ice Festival – Jan 28th
Once again on Saturday January 28, 2017 downtown Mount Holly will be the place to warm your tummy and see lots of artistic eye candy while having plenty of free family friendly fun.On this date Mount Holly will play host to over a dozen professional and amateur ice carvers from up and down the east coast. Burlington County’s best professional chili cooks plus a wide variety of interesting entertainment for young, old and everyone in between.

Wassailing the Apple Trees – Jan 29th
Terhune Orchards hosts the Wassailing party with activities, which include singing and dancing and playing of primitive instruments, toasts of hot cider and placing gifts of cider-soaked bread in the tree branches while chanting the lively words of praise and New Year. Wassailing is an old English tradition where people would gather in the apple orchard and perform rituals to drive away the evil spirits and ensure a successful apple crop next year. Warm yourself next to our bonfire (marshmallows included) or in our store. Live music will be performed all afternoon in the farm store. The festivities are free and open to the public, young and old.
