The Randolph Diner: Review
Located on Route 10 in Randolph, NJ is the Randolph Diner; a diner and spots bar that even has it’s own Executive Chef! This family owned diner has been around since 1991.
The diner was recently renovated and it is GORGEOUS. From beautiful lighting to funky decor, there’s a lot to take in when you get there.
The Randolph Diner has your typical diner fare, but it also has lots of unique items that will excite you. Those items include gourmet pizza, a full page of gourmet burgers and sliders, homemade soups and chili, NY deli sandwiches, fajitas, baby back ribs, steaks, seafood, and so many breakfast items you won’t know what to order.
Oh yeah, and they have crazy milkshakes including the PB & J shake, the Chunky Money, and Girl Scout Cookie to name a few.
Speaking of milkshakes, the Randolph Diner has a full bar menu include adult milkshakes (aka milkshakes with booze), beer, cocktails, martinis, and wine. Although this is not a 24-hour Diner, there is a very small window of time when the diner is not open for business…perfect for those looking for late night bites and cocktails.
Because they had so many delicious things on their menu I had a hard time deciding what to get…so I started with coffee. Mmm Arabica coffee… (plus unlimited refills).
After much consideration, I couldn’t help myself to one of the items listed on their gourmet burger menu! Since it was no occasional cost to make your burger a turkey or veggie burger, I opted to make mine a veggie burger since they make their own patties. Ultimately I decided to get a Caprese Burger, which is topped with red peppers, fresh mozzarella, basil, and tomatoes.
Since you needed to add on your own fries anyway, I got DISCO FRIES since I LOVED that that was an option as a side dish. Oddly the gravy came on the side, but I actually didn’t mind it. It prevented the fries from getting soggy.
The portion size to their pricing is very respectable. They give you a lot of food! Also, I don’t have a picture of it, but my friend got chicken fingers…and they looked so good I was drooling over them.
Speaking of drooling…
On the way out I dare you not to look at their amazing dessert options; everything from different styles of cheesecake, to mousse mouse, giant cookies, and so much more.
